Is Spring springing

I'm not really a gardener we sort of inherited our garden when we moved in and I have noticed that the Spring flowers are starting to pop up. We've got snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils showing themselves, the days are getting longer and the birds are being more active so it looks like Spring is on it's way, roll on, I'll be glad to see the back of this winter.

Are you a gardener? What's happening in your garden?

My grass is too long. Looks like a jungle. The cats are playing hide and seek in it at the moment. Looks like they are having great fun. Hang on, one of them is going for a poo.........I told them before, poo in the neighbours garden!

Mine is a work in progress... The veg patch has been extended... the chickens have made a mess of their bit... the raised deck hasn't been done... there are a million and one jobs to do... hopefully at the weekend...

It's all weird, it doesn't feel like any normal season these days at all.

Only winter I suppose! Yesterday felt like the middle of April. The day I had my driving lesson (Wednesday) it very much felt like the start of summer. I don't know it's just me though.

Definitely starting to get warmer here!

However, I remember a couple of years ago in March I think it was, one day it was shorts and t-shirt weather, absolutely beautiful, then the following day it snowed.Β

I am not sure about gardening, I mean what use is grass.... I can't eat it, mek owt out of it, you can't even put owt on ours for it rolling down the hill.....

For me it is the fruit n veggies and now some annuals and perennials with the hopes of winning more in the village show and beating wifey

Did I say spring is springing? It's back to winter today, freezing cold and lagging it down with rain!

Listening to Radio Derby before yesterday's game they mentioned in the traffic report that the A57-SnakeΒ  Pass was closed due to snow. They also mentioned a wintry shower during the match.Spring definitely not springing!
