I think MI5 tried to recruit him because they want an informer. It would be very handy once ISIS collapses and these thugs are taken to court for war crimes.

I would prefer him to be painfully tortured, rather than trialed. Just preferences really ;)

I think it would be better to torture him like he did with other people. Not that he will care what hes done but he will know how it feel then.

I have to state, that at times like this, these are just my own personal views...

I think I could justify the reasons for such a persons entire extended family to be eradicated...
