This picture was taken by an amateur photographer as he witnessed a life and death struggle between a weasel and a green woodpecker.

Amateurs are just as good these days, if they understand the equipment and get the timing right. There's a lot to be said about 'professionals' but let's face it we can't all be @Dan, mind some of them aren't good really and live off taking picture of a succumb quantity.

In fact our very own @Cobby has taken some amazing pictures which I have been lucky to see.

Wait for another one of his soon to be posted folks. :D

When I first saw the picture, I thought it was just a photoshop. Β Then it started appearing on the news site, in which case I think it's an awesome photo. He was lucky to have his camera with him for the moment, but the photographer did well to catch it so well!

Yes my first thought was photoshop but as you say it's on ITN News, it's a great shot.

It turns out a professional was about and he snapped this, see the difference! It's a lot like Sainsbury's taste the difference really, is it any different? Just a little? Okay. I've lost it.
