Always thought with a good defensive coach he would have been great for us. Would do well under the current coaching structure. Soooo much better than Hollis.

Good signing for them, but he will always be a nearly guy unless a good coach does push him on.

It's a good signing for the Notts County reserve team, he might finally settle somewhere and push on.

@Dan what do you think mate?

A field where dreams become reality.

I think Hissingdwarf has got it spot on. Apparently he played for us for 45 minutes at Rainworth and although had nothing to do, was the slowest & unfittest when doing some sprints after the game. If he can keep his confidence then he will do ok. Sadly with so many morons at Field Mill I fear that by Christmas his confidence will be completely shot to pieces.

You make this sound like it's unique to Mansfield, I assure you its completely the same here. I think KP may find a club who can bring the best out of him, lets face it if he does well, he will be loved and if not he will be crucified.

Sounds as though on that 45 mins he has let himself go a little bit as pace or fitness was never an issue at the Lane. It was, for me, purely a concentration thing. As has been said elsewhere, he could dominate a defence for 85 mins, but in those other 5 he would let silly mistakes cause goals and ruin games due to his inability to concentrate.

He will do well for a bit I suspect and then end up losing his way, I think only a strong manager can make him a steady player and performer consistently.

Another good signing for Mansfield, they should have a good season this year.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I've always defended Kystian Pearce, he did well when he regularly played and he partnered who stood by his side well. The problem was when he ended up being dropped, we left him out for a bit and then throw him back into the mix with difficult teams to play. Also, it was somewhat dry patch for Notts but all the signings made by Mansfield should reassure their fans.

Personally didn't think he was that good rated him at going forward and getting his header on corners/free kicks and was very strong and got stuck in but he was way to inconsistent for me cost us a fair few goals and didn't really live upto his potential, but I do wish him all the best at field mill.

I never saw him play for Notts but at one stage he did seem very popular, not sure what happened to change that but he seems steady.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
