For me, he needs time.

If we sack him - the same merry-go-round will continue and a new manager will inherit someone else's squad, with players who may not fit his philosophy. We may see someone appointed within, who people get behind at the start - a lot like Derry and the bubble will most likely burst. I hope we can be strong and stand firmly behind the squad, whatever happens will happen. I hope we don't force this into an issue personally!  

i think if we cannot remain near to the play offs or inside, he should go after the new year.

he seems too stubborn and unforgiving, you need to drop things and put the club at heart. it seems he holds grudges and repeatedly plays people out of position, which i do not think helps and i hate to say it. i am tired of his attitude, his interviews and comments.

Why do so many Notts want to cling on to hopeless managers time after time?  We've ad some shockers and, unfortunately, there is no evidence (or confidence) to suggest that we will identify anyone better - but, you've got to try!

 

I learned , very early in my business career, " as soon as you realise that you are going in the wrong direction, change it".  Football Club owners seem to persevere with tripe for far too long. Curtis is a young lad who excelled in the centre mid last year he will give you his all chases everything gets stuck in and has a great engine.

Getting rid of tripe like Adams & Bennett goes in his favour! As does binning the hopeless Swerts, Hollis and Jenner - tho' the latter still makes his awful cameo sub appearances.

Stick with this bloke and we'll be out the League, he's simply not up to it. His signings have been, for the most part, dreadful. He has no tactical awareness, no ability to change a game for the good, makes ridiculous substitutions and persists with playing people in unsuitable/unfamiliar roles.

It's crazy that we're not playing Saturday, It's not like we don't have cover. As you say it could put us right back in the shit, a situation we should not be in at this stage of the season. I was all for giving Moniz time until we lost to Salford. His team selection and tacics were beyond belief really. Switching to 442 and playing the long ball was madness, the players looked like headless chickens as none of them knew their role!!!! Salford managed to play some football on a tipical non league pitch so why didn't Moniz want us to so??

Let's wait and see if things improve imo. Lots of bad signings on the face of it and really this is a real negative for me. I genuinely believed he was the one. Good pedigree and something different, but most of the players signed (did he sign them or is this Branston via his committee???) Have proven to be poor. Lack of defence is shocking and shows seriously bad planning when we need Edwards every game. Smith should be replaced by Milsom if he is now fit. Get the midfield mobile a bit.

what's the point in playing good at home if we can't win away? it's not on one game tho is it look through the facts of it not just one game.


Pompey we scored a second lucky goal they should have had 5 so we got very lucky Luton at home last min free kick very lucky and we was up 2-0 aswell.

Accrington at home 1-0 had 100000chances and couldn't score we gift them a goal they nearly went on to win that.

Bristol rovers away we hardly threatend just they couldn't score again lucky

Stead plays as a winger due to moniz Barmby plays as a left back.

Centre backs signed Audel Sprockel Bennett but yet we play a left back at centre back and a fitness coach .

we have a centre back playing left back or a left forward playing at left back.

Doesn't that make you think hold on a minute what's going through his head

Oh and to add to insult we send a good left back who isn't good enough for league two apprently according to moniz but yet he's playing great for stags.

Bennett one bad game against Oxford all of a sudden ship him to Newport he gets man of matches and there playing better an leaking less goals .

But again he's not good enough we have a young centre mid on the bench who has been through hell and back playing at right back.

Last year when finally given a chance in the middle he shined and shined very bright he chases hassles tackles and goes forward and has great stamina.

Rob Milsom has played 4-5 games now for 90 mins and still is no wear near the bench that's a worry he should be getting game time now .

Left mid this gets me fuming we have signed Burke Valencic Genaro all can play on that left wing Genaro has the best cross of a winger we have.

No wonder speno is banging in headers it's his game a winger with pace whip it in and he's on it Campbell ryce did this for speno and he got goals.

That's just nonsense Danny, it isn't comical - it is cold, hard reality. On balance, based upon the evidence from the season so far - Moniz is utterly clueless. The odd decent display, such as Plymouth (which we lost) & the odd good result, such as Portsmouth (best performance in respect of grinding out a result and being organised etc) can't mask the inadequacies.

Give him more time - to do what, get us relegated? The bloke is inept & the clues are there!

I'm actually relieved that I have to miss the next 4 home game after the Northampton fixture. Watching Hewitt gift goals away, McLeod fall over a lot and Stead floundering around like a new born giraffe just isn't funny anymore. Knowing that Moniz has no idea how to change tactics or make useful/positive substitutions just enhances the frustration.

the funny thing I find is when we make chances we never use impact players you could bring Curtis on even Snidjers for that pace to get behind but he loves Jenner to much.

Someone stated that Jenner must be getting some kind of a pay for making apperences etc and it wouldn't surprise me .

Because time an time again Jenner has offered little at all and still gets a spot on the bench it does make me question that

If that's how it is gonna be then expect a Lowe half finish because good teams will pick up wins away from home as at home.

Portsmouth Plymouth Accringhton Mansfield are manning this except us and we have better players but we insist on playing them in stupid positions every time

I agree that we should be better away, but the priority for me is the performance at home. Success away and promotion would be a bonus. This season is the first since Sven that I've really looked forward to home games.

Moniz stay

We jusy need to find that elusive balance between expansive football and grinding results out

I disagree how can you get results when

A) you're playing a TARGET MAN as a winger ?


B You're striker is someone who plays on the shoulder and likes the ball at his feet so we boot it up to him


C) We send a decent LB out on loan an either play a actual left winger there or a centre back .


D)The midfield is slow and 3 of them lack pace but yet Curtis can't get a game

E) He should listen to fans it's not rocket science to play 3 up to you need two dangerous wingers with PACE not Jon stead who has never had pace not even at 18

He plays people on there past not there future egxactly Curtis is better then smith now and Snidjers is better then De Silva and Campbell but doesn't even get above Jenner

He is arrogant never wants to change never wants to admit he is wrong an it's costing us away from home

Also if he played people in correct positions we may see a change in fortune who knows my point and I add some valid points in it weather you can see them or not
