Portsmouth and Cambridge United both want Liam noble as he is in the last 6 months of his contract and is allowed to speak to clubs.

Its reported that Cambridge and Portsmouth have wasted no time talking to him but noble is happy at the moment and settled in.

wonder who will be next

He's only 24 and until his misdemeanor at Wycombe had been very good, how many teams have goalscoring midfielders? For me his talent is worth a four year contract on the basis that he is only going to get better and you could build a very successful team around a talent like his

As long as they take smith aswell

i think we should try and keep him, i know he's cost us points with his disciplinary record, but he's also scored us points too. So for me, try and keep him, Notts.

Does he want to stay? If so, offer him a new contract. If not, then try and get some cash for him in the transfer window.

I'm not sure Noble seems the type to leave solely based on better wages, I think he knows becoming settled improves his game - as he had numerous chances to leave Carlisle and he didn't.

He left once his contract was up and they had been relegated, any talented player would want to avoid the basement division if they can.

Only do I think, Noble may move because of wanting to advance his career.
