Sprockel and Jenner Also Gone

Featured Replies

Jenner was a good gamble, there's quality there but sadly it's gone. It could have paid off, which if it had - we'd be over the moon. He received rave reviews, yet somewhere he lost it.

Pre-season he looked good.

Sprockel didn't do well at all, very awkward and looked out of depth when played. It makes sense, good luck to them.

I always wondered if jenner would ever show how good he really could be, I think if he would have scored instead of hitting the post earlier in the season that could have given him confidence, im sure theres a good footballer there somewhere, its just a shame we won't see it, sprocket however was useless and didn't ever see a place for him, just never had the pace and skill for the English game

Good luck to them, i didn't see them as a great asset to the club but at least it frees up some money wage wise.

I'm not sure it will free up much money.  I would guess we would have had to pay off most of their contract for them to agree to leave.  A good decision anyway, as neither looked good enough to play a part.

Possibly, but at least we don't have them there not in the team anymore.

As we've let go of three players now you'd hope that would release enough money for a signing in an area we need. But even if we don't, it can't be good for team spirit to have players in the squad who aren't in contention and are frustrated. Surely it would be better to have a tight-knit unit who are getting regular games.

According to Leigh Curtis, we have signed Gary Mackenzie on loan from Donny.

6 ft 4 defender according to Wiki, played for Dundee, Franchise FC and Blackpool. Not highly rated by some Blackpool fans, but then he was playing in an awful team.

I texted a mate who's Donny and asked him what he reckoned, his response was 'Slow mate to be honest'.

We do need an experienced head at the back to sort it out there, doesn't necessarily need to be the fastest. Graham Lee was slow.

Don't really want Banton to be honest with his alleged attitute, whereas Addison used to be decent, but injury prone.

MacKenzie might be the type of player we need: Strong and dirty, speed doesn't matter so much if you can read the game well. Neither Strodder, Foster Lee, or Edwards had any pace, but all were great for Notts, who knew where to be and when to challenge at the right time.

well we don't have another winger Burke ain't making games Snidjers is clearly not wanted by Fullarton.

Not been funny but McLeod has a attitude but he gets goals

You can only have a certain amount of "bad eggs" in a side, otherwise you're in trouble. If we need a winger, I would rather we went and got a youngster with potential on loan, not one who can't get into a League 2 side regularly.
