Would you be happy to sign Jorge Grant on a permanent deal.

I would be very happy to see Grant sign for us on a permanent deal if one could be reached. He clearly is a talented player and has the skill to be successful and I think would be a great addition to the notts County team.

I don't think he's anywhere near the standard that Forest require in the Championship, if they were to fall into League One I think it would be his time to shine and develop further with them. So, I would be delighted if we secured his services on a permanent deal - even if it's just another loan.

Clearly Forest rated Yates as they wouldn't have recalled him, yet they left the better player with us IMO.

Jorge Grant may have fizzled in terms of performance but he's what I would describe as a game changer, he's someone who can get goals and teams are usually built around players of this mould - one day he will be the captain of a team.

Would I want him? Of course but I would be certified mad if I believed Forest would sell him to us or even if we could actually afford him.

Oh yes definitely, he’d be a great addition to the squad if we could clinch a permanent deal.

Heart says yes most definitely.

The biggest problem is having someone who is capable of running the wing as a replacement if forms dips because let’s be honest, his formed hasn’t just dipped, it’s gone off the bloody chart.

Totally different player after a Xmas. Tbh, before Xmas, he’d have walked into premiership teams at a push. For the last six months he has spent a lot of time not in the game.

He is a game changer though and if we were to go up then maybe the level of opposition would bring him on again?

Yes I'd have him, bit of a no brainer really. I would prefer to play him in his more natural position though as he is more of a number 10 / attacking midfielder than wide midfielder. I feel that behind a lone striker, or 2 up front he would be able to dictate games more.
