Notts County Away Days 2018/2019: Reviews

So I have decided that next season I plan to do most away games that I can attend. I work on the railway so shift patterns can sometimes get in the way. However I have decided that I will review these away days and post on the site so the members of PON can read and share their views and experiences that they have too.

I like to ground hop and tick of certain grounds so next year I will be trying to achieve this. I will try post weekly on some of my previous experiences I have had for now just to get in to the practice of writing them up so hopefully when the season starts I can write it in a proper article format for you all. Let me know your thoughts, both positive and negative please.

Heres the Format -

Team:

Ground Name:

Cost of the Day: /10 (Includes travel, ticket, programmes etc)

Atmosphere: /10

Food & Drink: /10

General Information:

My Experiences:

My Review:

Should you attend?:

This sounds like a very good and, interesting idea.

I'm sure people on here and from across our social media pages will enjoy your views on away days. Plus if it connects us with some opposition fans that would also be a great bonus. I eagerly await this @samwatto2008.. :D

PS. I'll take you up on going to some away games, as even @Magic magpie has suggested we go via train to certain games.

100% Itll be good for me too because then I can gauge everyone's views and hopefully mix them into thew review.

i went to chesterfield a few seasons ago and it was really impressive, it was much different to any home game i attended and i am glad i went. i think this may encourage me to try some different away games, so its a great idea.

also it would be nice to compare to other clubs in this league.

please do @samwatto2008

What about Mansfield away can we judge them fairly @samwatto2008

No they can get 0/10 for everything :) No of course ill judge them fairly. Just bought my season ticket yesterday too so hopefully get priority on the big games.

Shame thst mate was hoping you distroy them in your review. Where u sat mate

When do you aim to start this @samwatto2008?

I think you should set aside a few questions for members to answer, so that people are encouraged to contribute but the idea sounds good.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I agree with getting other members to contribute by giving their opinions, sort of like the player ratings you see on fan sites.

Good idea lad.

One suggestion from me would be to ensure someone within the community can do it when you are unable, readership is very important and a few games missed can make a pretty big difference with engagement I feel.
