He's signed a short term deal today with Burton Albion. Thoughts?

A field where dreams become reality.

I don't think he would have broken into the Notts squad but he looked a good player.

I wish him well.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Never impressed me, he seemed lightweight and average. He only excelled against lower class sides like the non league friends, he never look good otherwise.

Elliot looked like a promising prospect, I think League One will suit him better. He will have more time to express himself.

Burton must see something in him but its odd how short the deal is, can anyone shed any light on why this might be?

It's funny how a released player signing for a club above us gets wished well, yet a young lad clearly the best thing to come out of the club for years is forgotten about because the club sold him.

It seems a bit odd at this stage of the season being right at the beginning that you would offer such a short term deal to a player. Then again they might be attempting to get the best out of him or be low on the budget front.

If Elliot is half of what his dad was as a player, he will be good enough for League One.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
