I'm not sure we should be confirming who starts ahead of the game, does anyone remember when Alan Hardy mentioned a couple of players who would start? People on Twitter jumped on him for it.

Yet I don't think there should be any surprises here.

Andy Kellett needs to be tested to see if he can be more defensive than Dan Jones, if so maybe consider Jones to be a winger?

A field where dreams become reality.

It's about time Kellett got a chance ahead of Jones, I think he will do well defensively.

Jones is a good player but he gets lost and struggles to defend at times, he adds a lot of pressure onto the centre backs.

We will be able to compare Andy Kellett and Dan Jones more closely, its a tough game for Kellett to come into but hopefully if he shines he can help fix part of the issue at the back.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I think a few changes are required to see how the squad can be balanced in future league games, I luck forward to seeing how Andy Kellett does.

People will be able to judge Andy Kellett and see what he offers, some Chesterfield fans I know say he's better further up and this could mean he's just a like for like replacement of Dan Jones.

We will have to wait and see I suppose.

Fans have been calling for Dan Jones to be dropped, it's two games into the season and some would have wanted him after his performances against Coventry. Players need support but lets see what Andy Kellett brings to the team.

If the squad changes a lot, it will be hard to judge.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

i have the feeling kellett will be a like for like replacement.

i think notts fans will say hes better but down the line accept hes no different than jones. i just hope whoever starts can improve and we can then get on with the season.

From what I gather about Andy Kellett is that he performed his best in the middle of the park hence his inclusion in a 5 man midfield last night. When he was outstanding against us last season he played in the middle. He started the season as a left back where he failed to impress most of the fans so I doubt he is a suitable long term replacement for that position and I doubt that is where he was pencilled in to play.

Back to left back I think Jones is suffering from having so little protection from Enzio and Thomas as both are very much wingers. He is definitely not the best defender anyway but they definitely leave him more exposed. Question is do we need an aggressive forward thinking left back when you have two exceptional (for the division) wingers? I’d like to see Kellett replace Thomas but then we would miss out on Enzio cutting inside like he did so magnificently against Cambridge, so that could stifle our creativity and attacking ability.

Maybe we see a 3-5-2 with wingers and just try to out score the opposition alas Kevin Keegans Newcastle, no need for Jones then and we can play a few more of the quality cm that we have. Whatever happens am sure this season will be a real rollercoaster.

Andy Kellett has received a lot of warm praise for his performance yesterday.

Having seen the highlights, it might be worth giving him a chance at left back or in place of Dan Jones. I rate Jones but seeing the two goals, he could have headed the ball away or dealt with the threat better.
