Sad to hear she’s died from cancer, I wasn’t a particular fan of her kind of music but recognise what a great voice she had.

Anyone a fan?

Like you @Fan of Big Tone I wasn't a particular fan of  her music but I didn't  dislike  it either, and yes she did have a  great voice.Rest in peace Aretha Franklin, another performer who seems to have been around  most of my life gone.

I've seen a lot of messages being shared on social media, which is sad but it's nice that the memory lives on.

Rest in Peace Aretha Franklin

A field where dreams become reality.

Awful news when it broke, I hate how people are sharing that image of Stevie wonder going to "see" her before she died. There's no respect these days.

Rest in Peace.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
