Good morning PoN it’s cloudy here, dry at the moment but heavy rain is forecast later.

Hows everyone feeling after yesterday’s match? Depressed? resigned? ambivalent? (whatever that means) :huh2:

Today I have some computer work to do so it’s probably a good job it’s going to be a wet day, nice Sunday roast later.

Whats everyone else up to?

Just been for a power walk in the rain, having a bit of dinner later, and chilling on here and pottering round the house doing bits here and there.

So what's with the power walks @magpiejue? Are you trying to lose weight or just having a health kick?

Want to lose a bit, but mostly supporting hubby, who needs to get rid of his Stellar belly. Lol  And i suppose a health kick too.

It's slinging it down here, it hasn't stopped so far and it's one of those days I'd love to stand near the door and just watch the rain for awhile.

I haven't felt well, I struggled to get up and my lower backs killing me.

However, when Kate told me Nolan had gone I had to come see it for myself and despite feeling sick. I feel much worse now, so much needs to be done it's beyond a joke. I feel the decision is wrong. My plan today is to build a bunker for this massive fallout we have had.

Well done for supporting him, tell him to try running, I've lost one and a half stone since I took it up two years ago, if he's never done running he Couch to 5k programme is very good. https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/couch-to-5k-week-by-week/

There's an app you can download which you listen to as you run and it talks you through the process, takes 9 weeks and starts off very gently by mostly walking and a bit of running then gradually over the weeks builds it up until you are doing more running than walking then on week nine you should be able to run for 30 minutes and achieve a distance of 5k. You could both do it together.

Don't let football get you down @Chris it ain't worth it believe me, managers come and go, who knows we might have the next Jimmy Sirrel coming to Meadow Lane. Hope your feeling better soon.

Well a fun day at my favourite place...

Ikea. My god shoot me if I ever even think of going there at a weekend again. Took nearly 45 mins just to bloody park!

On the upside, got a new coffee table and a new desk for my office. Down side is building it all tomorrow and disposing of all the old stuff!

Had a few games of cards with the kids who after the hols, have discovered the joys of rummy! Although I prefer Gin rummy, it's a bit too complicated for them!

Spent a bit of time reflecting on the events at the Lane. Shame it didn't work out for Kev, but the more I think about it and look back at the results and the highlights of the games from Xmas onwards (In fact November onwards if we're being overly critical) he has been found wanting imo.

I can see Alan is wanting a return on his investment and as chairman, has every right to pull the trigger. Changing managers is no guarantee though and without the 3 mentioned regularly, keeper, new CB and new CM hardman, I'm unsure how it will turn out. Hope for the best.

Some of the new players deserve better. Enzio, Hemmings and Dennis must be wondering what they've let themselves in for!!!

Pretty much the same as yesterday as the weekdays will be busier. Housework and playing a few games with my kids. Even my very active child came back inside after a few minutes today because she said it was too wet for her to do cartwheels on the grass and bounce on her trampoline.
