So looks like the Molloys were only acting as agents before?

There are a few different rumours, we will have to wait before we can say much else. Let's just hope the club can dig themselves out enough to gain the sale need to see the takeover happen.

Waiting for confirmation would be best. I don't think it will be anytime soon.

dont really care tbh focused on the pitch and not what happens off it.

i am sure hardy will lineup a good buyer and then things will pick up from there.

Save the club from relegation first, that should be the priority.

I underatand hes losing money, the longer hes around but in the best interest of him too... Its going to be harder to sell and relegated team.

I never really believed it.

There was rumours they was refused a chance to buy the club before Alan Hardy, god knows how true that is but I have been told by crediable people that the main person doesn't have the money to fund the club and would most likely have to rely on his families wealth. If Forest couldn't manage this, why would we? I'd rather have a sensible owner who can bridge back with geninue fans.

I never believed some if them before. They seemed very made up by the trews.

It makes no sense, I assume it would have been borrowed money and from a third part outside of the mega rich family which makes you wonder why investors would have been needed. Sounds like another Munto to me.

Posted

So much for knowing that it was genuine interest.

It sounds like the money isn't actually there and they'd be more risky than Munto. I hope the club finds someone wealthy but with actual cash to inject when its needed, no relying on payday loans.

Seems all made up to me, I really don't think there's a point to the story or spreading the rumour.

I think alot of businesses tell some lies because they don't seem to think people will find out, but in a way thats worse because they don't like it even more when its found out.

Is it true?

We can only go off the news, but its old news now.

Posted

The Australian interest was supposed to be at the last game, rumours are saying they met with Alan Hardy but who knows?

Posted

We wont know till the any official news comes through.

Posted

It seems to have gotten all quiet on the takeover front, has anyone heard anything?

It's perhaps for the best that the club handles this internally with the focus on the pitch being at a high time high.

Posted

Agents to who? Why would supposed wealthy people be looking at helping another person to purchase a football club? I can't see the sense in it.

Posted

I wouldn't want a mega rich owner coming in and changing everything, the club feels fine the way it is under a smaller owner but Notts just needs to learn to be smarter with their decision making.

Posted

The problem is sometimes these rumours affect real interested buyers to not bother enquiring.

Posted

Suddenly there's more news coming out but nothing solid, I am hoping this fan backed team has enough money to move the deal forward.

Posted

After AH and AT, I would rather the club not be fan owned.

Someone disconnected would most likely do a far better job, however Hardy isn't doing that bad now he's off Twitter.
