Think they signed him from Braintree at the start of last season (he was their captain). Dominant centre half who looks ok with the ball at his feet.

Bromley's season will be built off a strong defence.

Notts must do more to break teams down. We've just got rid of two players who could've helped yesterday, creativity wise.

I think as a priority the club should be scouting players for a holding midfielder, a strong centre back who can pass the ball calmly and a winder that knows where the byline is. I'm not suggesting these positions should be signed now, this won't happen and it sounds as if the budget has been spent up - Neal Ardley must make use of what he's got in terms of depth.

Tom Crawford could do a job midfield, it may allow Regan Booty to find more pace around him.

Yet the club will be missing a tank and a player that can just find those few seconds within a game that teams struggle to find the control of the game.

Unfortunate timing in his career, it's a shame he's been forced to retire but it happens.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

He could move into coaching or another areas of the game, it's never good to see someone retire from injury but he will have options.

I didn't see this happening, Bromley seem to have coped with the set back.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
