Staying indoors sucks ????

I haven't been doing daily exercise or walks, it's something that I find difficult at times.

And, yes it's important that we defeat the Coronavirus by following the guidelines we are given. It must be difficult for so many people, all in different ways.

I know I won't be the only one hoping for it to be resolved soon, but that seems unlikely.

It just sucks having to stay indoors, I have tried keeping busy and, it's not working. I watch TV etc, I just want to see my parents, I won't because I'd never put them in danger but it's doing my head in.

I keep feeling unwell due to the limitations, I'm sure I'm not worst or the only one.

I hope everyone out there that reads this is keeping well, feel open to discuss how you're coping - perhaps between us we can fight some of the issues of being isolated like this.

Nobody can fault people struggling who want to go out but don't, those protesting and treating this as a holiday is another thing.

Keep safe all.

A bit controversial but I know of key workers who have complained that have to be at work, I think its worrying that some still face being in direct line but at the same time they have a sense of realism and can act relatively normal.

Everyone has to be in this to get ourselves out.

It's all very monotonous isn't it? For me, the fear factor that kicked in as the number of deaths was rising has subsided a bit, but I'm still very aware that my actions can have a big effect on others and I'm sticking to the rules. Not everyone is though -Β ALL of our neighbours are continuing to have visitors (I can hear two of them as I type this).

I've been working from home for five weeks now, but it's boring without colleagues.

In Germany the lockdown is being gradually lifted. By that I mean that most of the shops have now been reopened, but parks are still padlocked. The minister presidents of the 16 federal states are now actively going against scientific advice and the chancellor and are trying to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, confident in their belief that the worst is over and the crisis has been "mastered" (maybe today's news that the number of cases has stopped falling and is set to rise again will give them pause for thought, but I'm not hopeful). This has resulted in employees being put under pressure too - I know of office workers who have been threatened with the sack if they don't get back onto public transport and into the offices.

I'm in Ireland. I'm lucky to be able to work from home so I'm grateful to be still in employment. It looks like it will be August before I see the office again and even then it won't be full time as there will be safety measures in place so that not everyone is in the office at the same time. Some of the restrictions are being lifted so by July I'll be able to go 20km from my home. I use public transport so it will be for essential trips only when I do go out. I'm looking forward to getting a haircut!

Get a bowl and a pair of scissors and you're done. It was good enoughΒ for them... ;)
