No surprise that he's joined a club like Blackpool, I think everyone expected him to make a jump up the leagues.

Yep. Would have loved for him to sign for us - although having said that, we have attacking midfield options (Roberts, Rodrigues), it's the playmaker/defensive midfield options we lack. 

i cant say much about sonny carey, i remember @Piethagoram pointing him out and i agree hes done well against us. i just dont know if he would have suited us as a player but from what people have been saying i am not surprised to see him jump up the leagues.

A defensive midfielder is needed as a priority, someone who is limited to defending but is reliable at communicating with the everyone to stay organised.

No way was he National League destined, he was always going to go further up the leagues.

If he does well, he will go higher but if he struggles to get the game time to grow as a player, we might get a chance to sign him again.
