Coming towards the end of our pre-season, so how do we rate our chances? Lots of big signings by the bigger clubs (Stockport, Wrexham, Chesterfield etc...) and some weaknesses of our own exposed against York.

1. Are we returning to the football league? Yes - winner of playoff final against Barnet.
2. Position finished? 2nd
3. Top scorer? Cal Roberts
4. Top assists? Ruben Rodrigues
5. Player of the season? Cal Roberts
6. Most yellow cards? Dion Kelly Evans
7. Number of goals conceded from set pieces? 12
8. Position of first loan signing? CB
9. Points from first 3 league games? 6

He is indeed but are they as good in other areas? I don't think so. Good enough to finish in the playoffs? Yes. Good enough to get promoted? Nope.

Strike force is good with a number of options: Rowe, Payne, Assante (albeit injury prone), Tshimanga, Tyson and lanky Denton (injured). They play with WBs, so how you fit two or more of those strikers in one starting eleven, is a mystery.

Look decent in central midfield with Clarke, Oyeleke, Khan and at WB with Jeff King picked up from Halifax and obviously Miller. 

The defensive area will be their weakness. Loach isn't the strongest, and their central defenders are the same from last season: Maguire, Hollis, Gunning....

Squad seems top-heavy to me.

4 points I think, one win, one draw and a defeat. I think the defeat will be against Wrexham.
