People might overlook the problems with the two goals. I don’t think it’s worth focusing on them, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. The overall performance was quite good for most of the match. It’s unfortunate that David McGoldrick’s goal didn’t secure us a point. That would have been significant, but the players can still take away many positives.

Can't ignore Stockport's steadfast defence. Frustrating, yes, but commendable. They accomplished quite the feat, strategically bringing on Cotterill late into the game.

Williams' respect for Stockport shows his sporting spirit and we're all eager to see how Notts County measures up. His strategic approach considering Stockport County's goal-scoring ability promises an exciting game.

Here’s hoping for a draw, but a win would be great. Sometimes you have to be bold and hope it works out, even though I’m not expecting much.

Williams' statement 'one-nil up is not job done' should be etched in every player's mind. The team needs to retain the same intensity throughout the game. I echo his sentiment about not being complacent after scoring.

The FA/Premier League and EFL need to ensure that football assets, like training pitches and grounds, need approval to be sold outside of the club’s facilities as part of their licensing. Many clubs are building new grounds on land they own, even lower than the National League North and South. I’d prefer the club to own everything outright. Whatever stops the council from selling the land should give some relief to those who worry a bad owner will sell it.

His take on improvement after that second chance truly shows Morias' hunger for perfection. A sign of a true athlete, never resting on laurels and constantly seeking ways to better himself.

Notts perform well when they’re not under pressure, but teams are starting to figure out how to fluster them and convert that into scoring opportunities. It seems we’ve done little to alleviate this or simplify our approach. Focusing on the basics could make it much easier to handle pressure from other teams. If Crawley opts for a direct approach tonight, sending balls behind our defence, we need to stop trying to pass the ball and clear it by any means necessary. We’re a good team, so it’s understandable that there’s frustration when Notts make things harder for themselves. I believe we need to stay focused under pressure, make sensible decisions, and avoid leaving our goalkeeper exposed, even though we play a high game. We need to put in the effort to cover, observe how the game develops, and respond more quickly when things open up.
