  1. MK Dons are an artificial club with no rightful place in the Football League. AFC Wimbledon are the authentic team, and Graham Alexander’s dismissal won’t greatly impact them. MK Dons, however, would be fortunate to find a suitable replacement.
  2. I’m thrilled about the match taking place at Meadow Lane. I’d be let down if it were elsewhere, but really, we should just be content with the first round. The league, particularly our current form, is of utmost concern, but a cup match could boost morale and help us get back on track.
  3. Let’s bring PON back to its former glory before the disturbance, showing that we are a resilient community worth the time and involvement of Notts fans.
  4. Notts fell apart, I completely agree with what @Chris said. We sadly missed Jodi Jones, but where was Will Randall? This match could have been a good opportunity to see his contribution but we just collapsed. Hats off to David McGoldrick for his efforts, he seemed keen to make a difference and not many players can claim they performed at this level.
  5. I need to reclaim my top position, so get ready @DangerousSausage, I’m up for the challenge.
  6. Everything seems well managed, there was no need to rush. The unfortunate events were beyond your control and it’s sad that there are such malicious people out there. I hope they face justice, but as a community, we should concentrate on ourselves. It’s wonderful to have the site back! I’m excited to see it bustling again.
  7. Colchester United surely don’t want to stay at the bottom for long, as it can be daunting and hard to escape when spirits are low. It requires a lot of courage to rise from such a situation. With their recent changes, it’s uncertain what will happen for Notts. We just need to trust in ourselves, work hard, create good opportunities and hopefully achieve the result we want.
  8. Norwich City 2-1 Birmingham City QPR 1-0 Coventry City Port Vale 0-2 Bolton Wanderers Reading 2-1 Burton Albion Joker Gillingham 1-1 Mansfield Town Salford City 0-0 Newport County Halifax Town 0-1 Eastleigh Rochdale 0-1 Southend United
  9. I anticipate Colchester to provide a tough challenge. Luke Williams acknowledges that positions do not guarantee success, but I believe that if we thoroughly prepare and begin the match with determination, it should be an encouraging game for us. While I am unfamiliar with many of their players, my main desire is to witness a strong defensive performance from our team. If Colchester manages to create any scoring opportunities, our players must prioritise protecting Aidan Stone, our goalkeeper.
  10. It's a fantastic beginning, but we must continue to work on some of the mistakes we make. It is important that we do so, as it allows us to sustain the pressure. I do not consider the fact that we conceded three goals last Saturday against Forest Green Rovers to be a big issue, as long as it does not happen again. I believe it was simply one of those games where both teams posed problems for each other. However, moving forward, we would appreciate clean sheets and strong performances.
  11. While I understand his logic, I’m not overly concerned about the errors we committed as they simply enhanced the game’s excitement. There are elements that Luke Williams and his squad can examine, but I wouldn’t overthink it. Good teams are bound to make and force errors. I don’t oppose Williams’ viewpoint, I just don’t find it as troubling. He’s right to suggest that at 2-0, we should have been more solid and controlled the game, but football isn’t always predictable. The same goes for Notts County. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic victory.
  12. I also attended the match at Meadow Lane today. I never expected to be so entertained by a seven-goal spectacle. It was a fantastic game, with both teams pushing each other hard. I believe Forest Green Rovers will be fine if they can secure a few results soon, which should help them climb back up the table. Tomorrow, my day is filled with work from 10 am to 3 pm, followed by some college work. It may not be glamorous, but that’s my weekend for you.
  13. Notts played exceptionally well. In the first half, Notts effectively handled the pressure and constant harassment from Forest Green Rovers. They didn’t pose many threats in those 45 minutes, but their pressing and build-up play looked promising. We should have easily won 4-1 or maybe 4-2. We made some foolish errors which allowed them to make more of a match of it, but we have to accept that sometimes a team will give us more trouble.
  14. Oldham are a mess, they’re in the National League for a reason. Unlike us, they’re not taking the time to address their problems. They keep creating more issues, and I believe they’ll remain in the Non-League for several seasons.
  15. As for Jesse Debrah, I’m not concerned about missing out on him. I suspect he demanded a significant wage, and unless he was going to be a starter, that might be the reason. I can’t say whether we approached him as I don’t know, but I think it’s unlikely.
  16. Yes, he appeared neat and very effective. Forest Green Rovers performed well as a team and displayed excellent quality, especially when Reece Welch managed to evade our players without being pushed off the ball. He was very impressive!
  17. The situation with Exeter is disappointing and not beneficial for football. If they fielded a strong team, they should consider reimbursing the fans who paid to watch the match.
  18. The goal was outstanding, with the build-up being a key part of its brilliance. I don’t understand the criticism. If a team can perform and score like this, it demonstrates their potential.
  19. Is there a tally of dismissed managers? It seems like a high number for this point in time.
  20. Best wishes to Neil Warnock on his retirement. Despite the jest that he might manage two more teams by the end of the season, I genuinely hope he enjoys his retirement.
  21. I’m thrilled that Luton Town managed to secure a valuable point against Wolves. I hope they treat this point as a victory. It might seem odd, but this could be a turning point that motivates them to fight for more points. I really hope things improve for Luton.
  22. Darren Moore is a good choice. They might need to give him a few seasons, but if they can keep him for at least 5 years, they’ll be better equipped to progress.
  23. It all sounds very promising for football. If they can put into practice most of what was discussed, it should positively impact the game and spare many fans the pain and suffering. I hope they can tweak the rules with VAR, as it’s quite straightforward to do in my opinion. This could also prevent further drama.
  24. Welcome to the PON community, it's a great site website here and you will be made to feel amongst friends if you join in @Ryan Raynor.
