  1. If the club desires it, it could be accomplished, but it requires setting up communication between groups and fans who want to make a positive impact together.
  2. Luke Williams will have to ensure that the lads show passion in the upcoming weekend fixture against Harrogate and appreciate the support from the travelling fans. We’ve been underwhelming on the road, but we can improve. After a home defeat against Walsall in our last match, a win against Harrogate could significantly boost our morale.
  3. He did brilliantly to spot the gap and seize the opportunity to strike. I can’t comment on his overall performance as I didn’t see much of him, but it will be interesting to see how he progresses.
  4. Joining has been a decision I’ve never regretted. If you’re a reader who isn’t a member yet, take a moment to participate and immerse yourself. This site is a fantastic resource for us Notts fans.
  5. Jim O’Brien’s timing is impeccable, always managing to be at the right place at the right time. What a player!
  6. Walsall is somewhat of a mystery. I hope they put up a good fight. It would be disappointing if they fell apart or if Notts didn’t play up to par. Hopefully, our experience and skill will make for an exciting match. It should be a thrilling game with action at both ends.
  7. I extend my best wishes to Enzio. He may not have been an outstanding player, but his earnest efforts made him endearing.
  8. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, so hello @TT1970.
  9. Hello, @Callumpie. I joined some months ago and I have loved every minute. It's great to see another new member on PON.
  10. Kyle Cameron's honest assessment of our season gives me assurance as a Notts fan. He's not shying away from our team's challenges; instead, he's facing them head-on, promising to improve defence and concentration.
  11. Extra time on the training pitch is a smart move from the squad. Fine-tuning defensive techniques are essential. All the best, lads!
  12. Williams's open communication approach, addressing each player's perspective, strikes me as vital. It's imperative to understand the players' thoughts to tailor defensive strategies that align with their individual strengths. While immediate success is important, I reckon the focus on player development will prove beneficial in the long term.
  13. Rest in Peace, Shane McGowan. He was a man of exceptional talent and embodied pure rock and roll.
  14. A solid addition to the centre-back department would make a nice gift, while a thoughtful stocking filler could be the appointment of a defensive coach.
  15. Terrible, I’m pleased the referee awarded the goal because even if a Notts keeper had tried that, I would feel the goal was justified.
  16. Hello, @Strawb66. Interesting username! Welcome to PON.
  17. Hello, welcome! @Laura Cameron PON is a good site.
  18. Hello, @magpiemad. You have joined the right site to share your passion of Notts. Welcome.
  19. Hello, @samantha louise. Do tell us about your background as a Notts fan.
  20. What stands out for me from Williams's words is that he's not afraid to tackle our defensive issues head-on. It's clear he’s aware of the gaps and is intent on addressing them. Sure, it's a process, and it won't be resolved overnight. It's also worth noting his candidness. It’s not often you see a manager own up to a failure and yet still mandate the courage to face it.
  21. Let’s keep our eyes on the league and strive for further improvements. Let’s see where this journey takes us. With a few tweaks, improved defensive strategies, and a new signing in January, we’ll push forward.
  22. Love Junior's philosophy on teamwork and dedication, it's what football is all about. Very inspiring!
  23. I’m delighted for both Jim O’Brien and Junior Morias, two players who truly deserve a lift from scoring a goal. They both performed brilliantly, and I agree that Jim’s celebration was quite stylish.
  24. We can handle injuries, but we must keep in mind that our performance might drop. When we’re away from home, it’s fair to ask for a change in tactics, as we’re more comfortable at Meadow Lane. The lads did a great job to turn the game around and win.
  25. It’s not that I can’t or won’t, but at this stage, I’m not considering a membership subscription. I want to be clear, I understand that a lot of effort, resources, time, and money go into a website, and I think Pride of Nottingham is excellent. I hope more active and regular members will support this. For now, I’ll stick to making occasional donations. Good on you, @Fan of Big Tone, for committing.
