Looking forward to watching this on the telly apparently we’ve sold 2,000 tickets so there’ll be a lot of noise coming from the Notts supporters which will make a great atmosphere. Good morning wakey wakey you lot, it’s the last day of August and Autumn will soon be upon us, I noticed on our walk yesterday that there are lots of berries on the trees which is supposed to be a portent of a hard winter to come, I hope not. 🥶 I’m going to ring the eye clinic today to see if my appointment can be brought forward, my eyes are no better for using the drops I really need the surgery they offered sooner rather than later.

Good afternoon, well I expect we all woke with a smile on our faces after yesterday’s result. All that is except @super_ram sorry about your result mate, I’m sure they’ll come good in time. Well it’s dry so far today so we had a nice walk before it starts raining this afternoon, we passed Tesco and popped in to see if they had any bargains and picked up some Welsh Cakes for 90p, not had them before they’re sort of big biscuits with currents so we’ll have a couple for lunch with a latte from our coffee machine. What’s everyone else up to?

Burton fans in the first half singing Paterson’s football is sh!t, I bet he loved ramming that down their throats. 🤣

Some good performances particularly in the second half, cooper had another great game, Finnernan looked good but my vote goes to Smyth who made a huge difference in the second half, I was so pleased he got off the mark with two goals, that’ll do his confidence the world of good.

Pretty poor first half from Notts the false number nine experiment didn’t work but credit to Paterson he changed it in the second half and brought Smyth on which made a big difference. We were like a different team and thoroughly deserved the win. So pleased for Smyth to get off the mark with two goals, he’s settling in nicely.

I hope they get this one sorted he sounds ideal.
