Weekly Chat Monday 10th to Sunday 16th November
its the time of year its like a war zone at work, and i have more layers on going into work than i do once home. its been horrible today, a lot rain and just depressing feeling. its been quieter walking around, but i did look forward to going back to work during my dinner break. i usually really enjoy the break but not today.

Didzy available in January?
i dont think we really need him, it would be like going backwards despite the quality he could bring. being amongst the league one divisions most shots, says something that he still has it but maybe he is just struggling to convert challenges. i would rather persist with tyrese hall at this stage, because much like dan crowley we have learned to live without david mcgoldrick now.

Announcement: Latest news, improvements and moving forward - 14th November
i like the changes i have noticed to the mobile side, some neat things and as someone with mod powers it would make things easier to do. good update.

Who's your Man of the Match v Cheltenham?
nick tsaroulla for me, he was brilliant and was unlucky not to score from his diving header. he also played a part in keeping us safe, with two very important challenges.

Match Discussion: League Two: Cheltenham Town (A)
the first half we could have been well away from just leading by 2-0 and although they came into more in the second half, i did not feel at any point like the result was not going to go our way. i thought the midfield was very solid, supporting attack and defence. straight from kick off we looked to get settled and that helped moving forward. nick tsaroulla played a very good role in the win, i thought he was class.

Alassana Jatta And Tyrese Hall Strike Early As Notts County Beat Cheltenham 2-1
a very enjoyable away game, fans were class! i thought they did well to make a game of it in the second half, i did not see their goal all that well due to being blocked but i thought despite it notts deserved the three points. i am going to enjoy the rest of my trip home now. 😀

conor grant gets my vote, thought he played very well and his goal will hopefully allow him to crack on with this season. a few more goals and more will see hes worth.

Match Discussion: League Two - Cambridge United (H)
its a good chance to continue our current form, cambridge are a very good team at this level but if we play our best i think we should be able to win.

Some sad news with a Notts connection
its very sad, especially that he could have been saved with treatment but we sometimes battle on.
-
Marinakis or The brothers...
it looks like north korea, or one of those countries ran by a dictator. i would rather have the reedtz, wait for the success and be stronger for it. forest overspend and their owner causes a lot of issues. the fact hes been reported to spit at officials, argue with opposition management. it does not look good.u

Takeaways from the win against Barnet.
it shows the importance of defending and keeping the score level in tough games, as a chance can always change the out come of the game, such as what happened with tyrese hall scoring. defending older pieces, especially with headers away takes pressure of the keeper.

Notts County Women Latest.
well done to them, thats a very good result and the scorers seem to be regular contributors to the goals netted.
-
Roos
i think some areas like to be the biggest moaners, happy when we win but confrontational if results dont go notts way. i like seeing well thought out criticism, i dont like when its personal or just negative for the sake of it.

Weekly Chat Monday 13th to Sunday 19th October
im looking forward to finishing work, i can feel the cold like others have mentioned. it cant make its mind up, if it will be sunny or cloudy and rainy. its the wind that makes it chilling.

It's either a visit to Woking or Brackley in the FA Cup 1st Rd.
its a good draw for the 1st round, i think they will be wanting to cause an upset and the money to them wont be something i think they would take for granted. we need to apply ourselves well and win the tie to show we took it seriously.

Roos
i think there are times when comments are not forgiving and pre established opinions control the narrative but i do understand the criticism. a lot of members on pon have been fair, giving him credit for improving but its different on social media which at times is ott. for me, his mistakes make me nervous, he can do well but he is prone to causing trouble. that said, he dont always get a fair reflection of his performances and notts fans have always been critical of keepers.

Match Discussion: League Two - Barnet FC (A)
i was at the game on my own, thought barnet stuck well to their game plan and that was very disruptive to the way notts like to play. it made it difficult to counter and pass, they did very well to control the play. started with keeping it scrappy and in the air, which suited them but when it was played on the floor, they attacked with a lot of threat. Thankfully, we forced them into shooting more from distance and the 8 minutes seemed a bit annoying when it was announced, to score in the final minutes i take it back. out fans were great thought the 100+ minutes.

Who's your Man of the Match v Barnet?
kelle roos, i thought notts could have been much better and the win felt amazing. roos is the reason we would have left with a point, had hall not scored.
-
Scouting dossier : Barnet v Notts
yes, he looked very good. a lot of barnet players tried keeping it in the air early on but kanu looked a real threat when they switched to the floor.

Play-off semis revisited
i much prefer martin paterson for how he reads the game and approaches them, not afraid to make changes or to sub important players. there feels a much better logic behind his decision. stuart maynard looked good on the training pitch, but his squad selections and changes often took any momentum out of games even before kick off. i think it was more confidence than form that played part of the issue, we were thin in the attacking momentum. 2. the home game felt more like 50/50 in terms of winning, away i would say very few believed and the atmosphere at wimbledon was not very good. the performance on the pitch was not encouraging, as we looked unlikely to have an attack. i always felt junior morias should have started, as he made a difference coming on and did more in those minutes than mai traore did with much longer. 3. we could have done something had chances gone our way at meadow lane, but by the end of the game i did not fancy going to wimbledon without jatta. his absence caused the biggest impact, as with him there might have been a chance. wimbledon played us off the park at their ground, we never looked like scoring and even having a shot on goal seemed unlikely. for me, i think notts went feeling sorry for themselves.
