Weather Updates
i had to have my windows open today it was that hot, i normally dont like it and i kept the back door open just to give the house somewhere for the heat to go. i hope we get a bit of a break, i love the sun but the heat can be too much.

Nottingham bus nostalgia
i always preferred to bike to places, but i am thankful that nottingham at least has a good public bus service which has good routes.
-
Nottingham bus nostalgia
i have only ever seen pictures of them, i did see one being used as an event thing in the city centre a few years back. newer buses are something we should be thankful for, but those early ones are iconic.

What's Behind the Delay to Appoint a New Head Coach?
the decision to sack stuart maynard came pretty quick after the defeat to afc wimbledon, so something must something happening. i think if the decision was going to be 'easy' we would have seen it by now, so i personally rule out joao alves and luke williams. i just think if they were real candidates they would have been announced by now.

Matchday Traditions: What Works for You?
i tend to go straight in and i time it before the queues start to form, only exception is if i am meeting up my dad and uncle. or at times with @TheSkipper or @CliftonMagpie. once inside i dont really mind how busy it gets, it feels like we are all behind the club the moment the game starts to build up.

Where are they now : Jon Stead

England U21 a joy to watch
i have watched them in the past and thought it was very promising with how good some of the players were, some are now in the main england squad and have become restrained and predictable.

Offside law changed, following campaign by Swedish club
i cant help but think rules are being made complicated because of all the fuss of what is and is not offside, it should be fair and clear as to what is.

Pavis, KOP or Family Stand: Where do you sit when attending games?
i started watching notts occasionally in the family stand, at first getting the free tickets from school. i was not interested in sports but i like it from the first time i watched. i think we were playing bury. i just felt like it was a club that looked after their fans and the fans looked after each other. in my mid teens i started going to watch games in the kop. my dad as mentioned is a forest fan by heart but has been watching notts for 6 years now with my uncle both as season ticket holders. the family stand was nice, but i like the atmosphere and friendliness of the kop.

Kaiserslautern v Notts
alfreton announced, two german friendlies. probably a league one team away. i hope we dont avoid home games like we did last season due to the pitch resurfacing and upgrades. i prefer home games but the german matches do appeal as they are different.

Welcome Aw Saint
@Aw Saint, knowing notts and puma the day of our first home game. its always very late.

New training ground
the more i think about the agreement and work in cooperation with university of nottingham, the more i think it will be beneficial to our city not just notts. it does look like the idea place to train as there are not many facilities like it nearby that are in places that gives the club some privacy.

The long lost hills and walkways of Nottingham City centre
i think some of the really old pictures looks very haunting and a lot of those shown i would not feel comfortable walking near. its interesting to see the memories shared, tho i dont have any to add but its still a good topic that is different. thanks for sharing @Piethagoram.

Best team and individual goal: David McGoldrick
the video makes you realise how he could change the outcome of a game and performance with just a touch of magic. i love his dink goal of gillingham. the last goal in the video is the best. i am still trying to decide which was the best team goal, as most of the goals he scored came from a pass and then touch of his class. its hard to pick.

Welcome Aw Saint
i hope you enjoy it. if you like a pre match drink, there is the embankment pub which is a nice stop and its quite laid back. we also have the nest which is located near the kop stand, and the navi which is a short walk from the clubs main gates and club shop.
