  1. this is great news, but i hope those feminine nutters in the womens game see this as a move for equal rights and stop complaining about the amount of male managers, coaches etc. god forbid a male pundit covers a womens game, perfectly fine to have clueless pretenders doing it for the mens. best of luck to marie-louse eta. i think its great for the game.
  2. @super_ram he would get kicked and fouled a lot, he would just get back up, smile and then do something no other player on the pitch could have done. his quality even at that stage was something we did not quite use to our advantage. yet i think he kept us within a fight staying in league one. good memories of seeing jack grealish play for notts.
  3. i have never been, today will be my first time but with their troubles and the rise of mk dons. afc wimbledon is one team i have wanted to visit and support. if i get chance to go in their club shop before kick off, i will pick up some things to give them some support. they seem a genuine club.
  4. welcome to the pride of nottingham, @Darryl Chapman.
  5. i still prefer richard brindley in the middle of kyle cameron and aden baldwin.
  6. i am about 30 minutes away from the ground, i have just pulled over with the lads [@CliftonMagpie and @TheSkipper] so that we can get something better to eat than what football grounds offer. jodi jones will be a miss, but it gives someone else a chance and i think his presence would be better for some of the upcoming games. so if he was on 4 yellow cards, and not suspended i think i would prefer him not to be risked. yes hes a great player but the suspension could have been avoided, thankfully i dont think it will impact us as much. i will share the team news unless someone else beats me to it. i cant wait to watch the game!
  7. its great to know that players of the likes of john bostock who has a wealth of experience higher up, is finding that working with luke williams brings the best out of him. its a really positive thing, because now we have dan crowley and dan gosling, two more players who have sung the praises of williams already. we have ourselves someone who can get the best out of players but also inspire them.
  8. i think hes mostly fair with what he says, he did well to get bradford to change things in the second half. they were incredibly poor though, their goals were somewhat fortunate but i still praise their fight. they should be fine under graham alexander.
  9. good post match interview, i think the standard of questions and of course the way luke williams handles himself makes them a must watch/listen. i never turn the radio off as a drive after full time, i also love stall's take on notts.
  10. its a great chance to get those much needed 3 points but we must focus on the game, work hard and put in a solid performance. i will be there amongst the crowd hoping to see us finally get a win over wimbledon. it should be a great game, fingers crossed its not too cold!
  11. yeah, hes all about respect and focus. its one of his qualities which makes him so likable. i could listen to luke williams talk about football all day, just to see how his mind works and the insights he gives. afc wimbledon wont be easy but i do agree, we should be picking up the maximum amount of points from them.
  12. he really has stepped up and shined his role, we dont look like a team that is missing one of our star players from last season. Dan Crowley and David McGoldrick have slotted in and, offer both experience at a much higher level but also their general quality. We are lucky to have Crowley, he's a great player.
  13. these are great photos, without the explanation as to where it was even i would not be able to place where the first image was taken. it looks like nottingham had some sort of drapes to the side of the platform.
  14. can we just get it over with and have you renamed fan of loads holidays @Fan of Big Tone. i hope you and mrs t have a wonderful time, remember to treat her to something extra special. i will be going to the game tomorrow, so far i have made every single league game this season and i am looking forward to visiting wimbledons ground. with the history of it being a former premier league ground, which even by those standards was pretty much a non league ground. it will be nice to pay respect to the club, after we take all of the points from tomorrows game that is. sunday marks the beginning of mulling christmas presents to various family members, so i will be catching up with them.
  15. i thought england were quite poor at times they looked like did not want to go forward early on, which deserves credit to malta. i think they back off pressing england which gave them more confidence to attack and at this stage england just grew in confidence. malta had a troubled time defending but i think they should be happy overall, i do think jodi jones should have started because he would have gave them some real quality going forward.
  16. double decker too? that would be something in todays time to see. the trams always full with like 6 carriages and another tram 5 minutes away the same.
  17. there was once a point where i did not think it would be possible for notts to draw to manchester united, but these days @Piethagoram i think we would win them. it shows how extra special that draw was. i hope to see notts in the top flight in my life time bossing the big clubs.
  18. i thought it was a rehashed story until i read about cedwyns tweet. ryan reynolds and rob mcelhenney are two really nice guys who are just having fun finding love in a sport outside of their norm. fair play to them!
  19. i have no idea who he is but its not luke williams and therefore i dont care. oxford will have a hard enough time moving forward, if they are able to maintain their good position in league one all the more credit to them.
  20. i am with you, but if you are looking for deals or cheaper christmas presents it can be helpful. the thing about it that i really dislike is when a site has full blown banners pretty much taking up all of the content areas, if you click a link to view something you want to see more about which is a product. you get shown a popup or redirected to a page about it being the biggest black friday sale ever. as i say, it can be useful but sites really go all in with it and that puts people with any sense off.
  21. Bristol City 0-1 Middlesbrough Preston North End 0-2 Cardiff City Lincoln City 2-1 Barnsley Northampton Town 0-1 Cambridge United Crawley Town 2-0 Harrogate Town Walsall 1-0 Forest Green Rovers Aldershot 0-0 Halifax Town Gateshead 2-0 Southend United joker
  22. @Ohh Tommy Johnson back in the day we would nominate and then vote for the member of the month. to acknowledge a member who contributed and made a significant difference in that month, as a pat on the shoulder type thing. its nice to see it back because there will be plenty of people worth mentioning and even though one person is named for each group, member/team. others get a little praise from this and the voting stages. its just a nice community thing.
  23. i cant think of any before they reformed, i am not sure there is any others but are we counting the club before mk dons were established and afc wimbledon started as a phoenix club?
  24. john bostock is very religious too, i think if its from within our own supporter base then bans need to be issued. its probably just some idiot who does not support the club but its easy these days to hide behind a keyboard or anonymous voice. @Fan of Big Tone it shows the state of people today when people need to find something to pick out and be petty about.
  25. this is not just now, russia has always seemed to be like this going back to when they murdered their royal family. i feel sorry for the people who cant afford to leave russia.
