    i never liked it, i always felt it was too sweet and would give me headaches. much prefer white chocolate than caramac.

    james perch was a good player, very versatile. its funny how the strangest connections appear only after things happen like this. you would never have guessed that he were staying with someone unconnected to us. i think its brilliant.

    he arrived after being released by chelsea due to a pretty big injury if i remember right. i dont think these gambles often pay off, will hayhurst and others are prime examples. its a shame but he probably did not have the right attitude to be a league player. at least hes salvaged a career in the lower leagues.

    terrible performance at times, notts looked quite clueless and lincoln took the opportunities they had well. @DangerousSausage Port Vale may have a youth player called lincoln.

    @Fan of Big Tone can you link it so we can listen? it sounds like the club would need to invest in lasers which display ufos and stuff in the sky too. obviously night games only.

    i personally did not think all that much of him and thankfully we have started to recruit much better than signings like this, not that kairo mitchells signing would suggest it but plenty other decisions would.

    i dont think letting people go automatically means that a company is struggling to turn a profit, its quite common lay offs happen even with companies turning huge profits and i am pleased the accounts show that football radar is making a steady profit. maybe the reason the reedtz where over in italy was for business meetings relating to football radar.

    @ARLukomski i think we could have held onto him and loaned him out a bit, he just needed to get that competitive strength i feel. he was a lot better than ed francis but never had the opportunity francis had with michael doyle being at the club.

    we dont need either short or ruben now. hope they give him the position full time because it would be nice to see him back in management.

    the flw love writing nonsense about notts, whilst it would make sense. i cant see luke williams abandoning us. he has far more chance of achieving something special here. oxford seem to be at the point where they are at the glass ceiling and unable to break it. i cant see williams choosing them over what we are achieving right now.

    i can imagine him having a similar reaction to a restaurant getting his food order wrong or him disliking the meal. its not good for his stress levels but its funny and probably very honest.

    this was a weird story, however it got into the media it tricked people and i wonder if she thought about squashing the rumour herself.

    the result and outcome does not bother me, i am just glad that some of the youngsters got some vital first team experience and now we can focus on bigger things like the league and fa cup. though the main focus must be on the league.

    it explains why they are not doing as well, they might have used that money to bring in players under different circumstances. i wish them all the best, i think the efl and fa should make rules that make it harder forum bad owners or previous ones.

    i appreciate the update @Chris, everything is extreamly smooth and prompt. the new server made a massive difference but this further work seems to have things lightening fast. i look forward to the new merch and wallpapers. lets get this place back to rocking.

    this is a great story! i have never heard of wojtek. i did read that russian forces used dogs to blow up tanks.

    i think he will offer good cover, 2 months is long enough to see how he adapts to a return to football and allowing him to be the director in the centre of the park, its a bit less demanding than a player coming in who has to get to grips with a lot of movement, defending and going forward. i have every faith in his ability, he seems like a big signing for us and hopefully he proves this on the pitch.

    i get the comments about disappointment but i do think it sounds about right. crawley is not a glamourous tie and only local teams could probably draw more. i think we have to be realistic, i bet it was mostly season ticket holders who attended and fans who regularly watch no matter. those casuals who float around because of where we have been and where we might be heading probably decided to sit it out for whatever reason. i think betweem 4-5k is about right for actual fan base. dont forget many fans are bringing mates to league games too, there is little reason for them to come to a starting cup game.

    it does like hes come here to play and that come january his decision will be based on the amount of games he played and what we can offer him. i like that he does not want to sit idle and collect wages for doing nothing, i hope he does well and can fill the void that the loss of matt palmer brings. i think he could be a great player for us, someone that has the quality to do the quiet things which gets us going.

    im not bothered that they scored twice, i am not worried that some of the players really had a bad day. all that matters is persevering and pushing for the win. we wont always be able to play entertaining football and dont cup games always tend to be like this? its just good to get the job done at meadow lane.
