  1. well done everyone, lets keep going. sorry i missed the round!
  2. they featured in @Chris faces of pon from the mansfield game.
  3. Huddersfield Town 2-2 Cardiff City Swansea City 1-0 Watford Lincoln City 0-1 Charlton Athletic joker Northampton Town 1-2 Leyton Orient AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Accrington Stanley Crewe Alexandra 0-2 Stockport County Dagenham & Redbridge 0-0 Boreham Wood Eastleigh 0-2 Woking
  4. i am hoping the game is not called off, i am very much looking forward to the game and i hope that everyone manages to get to the ground without issue. i think we need to put together a good performance, win, lose or draw. provided the players leave it all on the pitch i will be happy.
  5. i am hoping if ollie tipton or the other loanee is not the answer to help us at the back, that we do bring in another cb come january but most things can be worked on in training. the mansfield game could have been perhaps managed a lot better by the players, if i were williams i would not have be happy but since he the forest green game. i dont think he will say, now is the time we encourage and show support to the players tho.
  6. i will be going to gillingham tomorrow with @CliftonMagpie and @TheSkipper. i am looking forward to another away day, hopefully it wont be called off but if it does we will find something however far we get to do. sunday i am going to my dads, we probably end up going out for sunday dinner at his local. @yelobeli this sounds terrible, i hope its not causing too much of a problem to your home. @super_ram and @Chris have a great time! i hope @cheeky~k8 does not have a double headache with having two grown children to look after in addition to the other 3. @Fan of Big Tone start making plans for tomorrow and sunday, get those board games out.
  7. david mcgoldrick for me was one of the standout players who put in a lot of effort against mansfield, he tried and did well i felt. hes right about the support being the heart of the club, i am incredibly proud to be a notts fan now more than ever before. this is largely down to our current squad, luke williams and our owners. i want them to realise that we are a good league two team, the pressure to succeed is only matched out desire to progress the leagues. we can do this!
  8. please dont say this, we have lost enough this year with @GrannyPie. besides we could have a down pour of rain across the uk and gillingham call the game off, but dont mention that bucket please. we want you fit and healthy for many more years.
  9. good game and performance by england, but italy were very poor. they look a shell of what we know they can be and i dont see why they are such a dreadful team. i would not want to watch them if i was italian.
  10. this is great @DangerousSausage, for younger fans this will be an eye opener in terms of the years of notts' history and historical landmark games. i am not bothered that this did not happen sooner, those 4 years in the national league have helped us to get to where we are now. hopefully, we can make a truly remarkable game for all the remember by bringing the points home.
  11. i think if john bostock is out, jim o brien can do the role but he might need to focus on being more defensive. that is what bostock does, he anchors the defence and allows them to get going without being bullied. whilst jimmy might not be intimidating, he can be good at picking up the ball. i think it should be a fairly good game, hopefully we fewer goals for the home team. that said they seem just as capable as us to score.
  12. its a remarkable achievement for notts, i know @DangerousSausage has been excited by the game as i remember him working out when the fixtures were released which game the 5000th match would be. i really hope that notts just forgets everything and goes to gillingham just wanting to win. otherwise i feel there is much pressure, with the league standings, current form and importance of the occasion. its really just a game, but one hopefully we can hold high in the record books. in luke williams, i trust.
  13. i dont blame him because its a good step up, but it does feel like ian burchnall and the forest green rovers move. only difference is, mk dons should be able to turn it around if their fans give him the chance. it might not be this season, but if they allow him to build, he has shown he can get good football and decent results. i wish gateshead all the best with replacing him too, i like them, i have a soft spot for the club.
  14. ade akinbiyi is one for sure.
  15. Bristol City 1-2 Coventry City Hull City 0-1 Southampton Burton Albion 2-0 Bristol Rovers Peterborough United 3-1 Wycombe Wanderers joker Bradford City 3-2 Wrexham Colchester United 0-1 Harrogate Town Rochdale 1-1 Oldham Athletic Southend United 0-2 Solihull Moors
  16. welcome to the pride of nottingham, @Max Roberts. i am pleased also to be saying hello to you.
  17. it got mentioned in the press conference with luke williams. it does look amazing, its nice that both managers feature and it symbolises that we are one city. something some people forget, but i was not sure the navi needed it promoting. i think luke williams was a bit taken back when it was mentioned, he gave a very short answer and went on to talk about more interesting thoughts.
  18. it looks like the cap has been well worn and must have been a favourite, as you need to live and die in them for caps to really start to fall a part. at least you will be sorted when you get the one @Chris is giving you. its worth noting, this must have been purchased whilst he was doing the raffles online and so, i think this hat will be validated as lucky. it would have seen notts make the playoffs successfully and promoted before its even been worn! now that sounds like something special.
  19. is there anywhere you still want to visit @Piethagoram? i noticed you have been all over the world and i think that is inspiring. i have only been to a select few places, mostly where family are all located but i would like to travel more eventually. the pictures you have taken of poland look very nice, it seems quite a relaxed place.
  20. colchester did have some very exciting players that fit their system well, i think in truth only a handful would fit in here simply because our playing style is much different. you can see they were setup to score goals and attack, defensively i did not rate colchester much at all.
  21. out of a pool of possible teams, i dont think we can be that disheartened by who we have drawn. i am interested in knowing what crawley fans think, it should be a good game.
  22. things do seem a lot faster now which is really nice, as is knowing pon is back. its spiteful what the hackers did. there is no point in it. lets hope they get whats coming to them because if you do this, you must be a pretty sad person.
  23. he spent some time thinking he was dean leacock, messing about with his hair band and trying to wind up the kop by drinking water. he was okay on the day, decent on the ball but i dont think he had the pace we could do with.
  24. this is very tough but i did enjoy it. @Fan of Big Tone @super_ram roll up.
  25. i am with @Chris, hes spot on with what he said. we just lack the fight and strengthen we usually have in midfield. defensively we made it harder on ourselves, but i thought connell rawlinson was the best defender on the pitch. richard brindley had a nightmare unfortunately. there was nothing that macaulay langstaff or david mcgoldrick could do, its just was out of their hand but they at least gave their all.
