  1. I wish him a speedy recovery; my first thoughts were that he may have dislocated his knee. I haven’t heard anything further about his injury, but I am hoping it’s nothing serious. We have cover thankfully, but his absence will be missed as he started to look lively. I also think we would have looked more comfortable in the final result had his injury not happened. Freak accident, such a shame too.
  2. Morecambe will hopefully find a better owner next time, provided this one gets pushed out. It would be a shame to see them suffer further due to their owner refusing to pay his responsibility.
  3. Mike Dean is going to alienate himself from the sport; other referees will want to distance themselves from him now. It’s a negative thing to claim and say, but I doubt he will be punished. It could see him being taken to court by the team affected by the decision, but I don’t think it’s likely.
  4. It looks great, nice to see it tweaked to look more appropriate for Notts.
  5. I have never seen it in its entirety, only parts of it, but never a full episode. I do like sitcoms, so I will have a look at it.
  6. It's vital Notts capitalises on their recent undefeated run and their home-ground advantage. However, they need to remain aware of Tranmere Rovers' capacity to bounce back. Tranmere, having lost three out of their first four matches, could be under pressure, which might result in a tough battle. Excited to witness how this match plays out. Here's hoping for another enriching encounter.

  8. I believe that if the mistakes were proving to be costly, I would be more concerned. However, we are progressing well as a club and, as Luke Williams says, the errors come from somewhere. They don’t just happen, and by focusing on that process, we should improve further. I also think that as we settle into the season, confidence will grow and the players’ nerves will settle. Over time, we should see fewer and fewer of them, but I do want to point out that good players will force issues. We don’t have bad players; everyone is on the same path and working towards putting Notts County back where we belong.
  9. I would like to add, Jeff Hughes. ????

  12. Yes, form is definitely important for Notts right now. As @NottsTastic mentioned, “If we are enjoying our football and doing well, I believe the mistakes and defensive errors would become few and far between.” It’s still early in the season, but things are looking up for Notts and the journey continues. And as @KingWilliams believes that Notts should fare well against Tranmere Rovers and that it should be a close match, but Notts should be able to overcome the game with minimal fuss. The players are showing signs that they are adapting, so right now we are firmly looking forward. However, just as the outcome looked disappointing after Sutton, things can quickly change, and we need to avoid that. It’s important for Notts to focus on making it harder for teams to score and to continue to enjoy their football. By staying determined and focused, they can overcome any obstacle and achieve great success!
  13. @liampie It’s important to remember that the league is still in its early stages and teams are still finding their form. Setbacks are bound to happen, but it’s how we handle them that matters. As fans, we need to support the team through thick and thin and have faith in their ability to bounce back from any setbacks. I’m confident that with time, the team will continue to improve and move up the league. Let’s keep cheering them on!
  14. Right now, we need to see where we are in six games’ time. Performances have improved, and given time, I think the mistakes people are pointing out will minimise. Luke Williams has navigated the opening game well; that could have been a minefield, but thankfully he poised himself well. He doesn’t seem to be like Kevin Nolan or John Sheridan, where bad results affect his thinking, so it’s a positive sign that he clearly sees what needs to be done and will work on it. I think we will continue to move up, but we may experience a few setbacks, which as fans, we need to take on the chin. At home, I think we will be strong and difficult to beat, but on the road, we may experience a few more games like Morecambe, where we just fail to open them up. Overall, I am happy. I think if the club could bring in a good centre-back that can play as a defensive midfielder, we would be tighter. But I do acknowledge that we have Ollie Tipton, which would prove to be a pointless addition if we failed to use him when presented. So, we might just need a centre-back.
  15. It’s great news for Jodi Jones; he’s got his wish, and it’s good to have it confirmed as his goal. It won’t make much difference to his performances, but for his stats and club record, it’s a bonus.
  16. When I was younger, the club certainly tried then to get the fans on board. I don’t know why it feels different now, maybe it’s because from the board to the players, everything feels so stable and that the club really is on the up. I think the Reedtz, Luke Williams and many of the main squad players have done fantastically well to relate to fans and get them involved. During games, we are seeing that connection evolve and it’s very impressive. At Doncaster, we didn’t stop singing and even when multiple parts chanted different songs, it just blended nicely together instead of being disruptive to the other.
  17. It looks like a good machine, if the ink is used completely before it’s empty, and it doesn’t cost you the earth to buy the ink. You will have made a great purchase with that.
  18. Stay on track, @Chris. A number of us haven't had a poor beginning. With a couple of strong rounds, you might find yourself back in contention or at the bottom.
  19. Macaulay Langstaff has performed admirably in maintaining his focus. I appreciate that he isn't concerned about failing to register goals, but rather recognizes that the team possesses the capability to deliver the ball to areas where he can capitalize on promising opportunities. He stands out as a highly impressive striker who is poised to net a substantial number of goals this season. I am anticipating witnessing further development in his partnership with Cedwyn Scott, as this is an aspect we have yet to fully exploit to our benefit.
  20. Doncaster Rovers' initial strategy was to closely shadow every single player. They would assign two to three players to pressure whoever had possession, creating challenges in finding open spaces. There were instances when a swift pass to the opposite side was desirable. Many times, Jodi Jones found ample space, yet he was only able to receive the ball promptly in this scenario once. A notable exception was when Matt Palmer skilfully delivered the ball to him. However, I believe there is room for further exploration in this regard. Regarding Jim, his unwavering dedication is well-known. Even though it may have resulted in us losing the 3 points, I find it difficult to be overly critical of him. Nevertheless, I concur that maintaining our focus and rectifying these issues are imperative.
  21. Luke Williams is correct; progressing with an away win is positive, but conceding that goal is disappointing. Aidan Stone should have maintained a clean sheet; there's no justification for allowing that goal. Nevertheless, it's not a significant setback.
  22. Your analysis is thorough and precise, gaffer. I agree with the points you raised regarding the upcoming match against Tranmere Rovers. Regarding the game itself, I agree that Luke Williams made the right decision by omitting Aaron Nemane. The team performed admirably, particularly in the second half, resulting in an entertaining match.
  23. Impressive photographs, @Chris. It would be great if you could resume doing this regularly for Notts.
  24. Despite having attended the match and experienced the incredible atmosphere first-hand, I believe the vlog effectively demonstrates why it was such a great event. It captures the essence perfectly, and the insights into the game are well-articulated. Well done, @ARLukomski.
  25. He executed the goal nicely. However, I wouldn't base a recommendation solely on that one performance. He's someone to keep an eye on; if he can continue scoring, it will be intriguing to follow his progress.
