Notts County travel to Aston Villa in the League Cup keen to replicate their heroics in their match against Liverpool two years ago, where they took the Reds to extra time. Villa, meanwhile, will be keen to avoid another surprise early exit from the competition when they host the League Two side. Last season they were dumped out at this stage by Leyton Orient, who triumphed at Villa Park thanks to Romain Vincelot's winner. In this piece, P

Being 2nd in League One with a game in hand of the 1st place Swindon Town, Robins fans have every right to be exited about this seasons campaign. Bristol City have lead the division and put together several impressive displays, as they hover around the two top positions. Pride of Nottingham's taken the time to ask several questions to Robin's fan 'Hodge' who is currently exiled away from the club in which he supports. Β  Firstly, co

As Pride of Nottingham builds up to this weekends game, Notts-Joe has taken the time to put several questions to one opposition Douglas. Whilst towards the bottom, you will find a link to a mini fan view from within our camp. Could you tell Pride of Nottingham a little bit about yourself, such as how long you have supported Carlisle? I'm 26 years old, and my first Carlisle game was 8th may 1999, the final game of the season at home to Plymouth argyle. This game is most remembered as the

Carlisle suffered defeat at the hands of Walsall on 26/02/2013, Carlisle have found themselves in poor form in recent games. Notts County come off the back of a draw against Tranmere, which was a game that sounded like we had controlled fairly well. We've taken the time to speak with Dave ahead of our game against Carlisle, the first opposition view in recent times due to being unable to locate an interested party. We hope to continue to feature opposition views when possible. Firstly, c

Carlisle seem a little inconstant at the moment, similar to Tranmere they can score but they have issues at the back which is for Notts to expose on Saturday. Nobody can questions them as a football outfit, as they have beaten Sheffield United already and a lose to Port Vale, just shows the level of inconstancy. Notts on the other hand are looking up at them literally and on the back of one impressive display, isn't enough to say this game will be easy. We've taken the time to speak to tw

Crewe Alexandra come to Notts having won their last two games, one in which was against Coventry City in the JPT. Notts County will be focusing on changing the recent form which has seen them lose two away matches to the hands of struggling Hartlepool and then last tuesday against Stevenage. Crewe haven't beaten Notts in the league for awhile, so Chris Kiwomya could very well be the man to continue this record against them. Pride of Nottingham has taken the time to ask Mike and Andy a ser

Crewe Alexandra have found themselves in good form as of late and their manager Steve Davis will be hoping his team will continue on Saturday against Notts at Meadow Lane. He has issued a warning about a backlash with the Notts County form being on the decline after several extremely difficult games for the magpies. It's time for Notts to put in a convincing display on Saturday, as fans will be hoping to see that we can get back to winning ways against The Railwaymen.

It's a special double featured opposition view from Pride of Nottingham, as we speak with two Hartlepool United fans Mr Ripper and Poole In Nottingham. Notts will be looking to continue our new away record by making it 2 wins from 2 away games, whilst Hartlepool will be eager to cause us trouble. Hartlepool sit at the bottom of the table and their fans will be hoping for some light ahead of the difficult situation Hartlepool United find themselves in. It has been interesting for myself to

On the back of the first home win since November, Notts County fans will be planning their 134 mile journey to the home of Leyton Orient as our away record could roll on for a full year if we make the next couple of away games without defeat. This would be great achievement, adding to the fantastic year of celebrating 150 years. It's now more than ever we hope to see a return to consistency as Pride of Nottingham ask Orient fan Lee a series of questions in which we hope to gain fu

This is a pretty special opposition view for us here at Pride of Nottingham. It's certainly not your typical one and although this is no doubt one of my personal favourites, I comment unbiased on how welcoming the responses. I've taken the time to speak with Matt who is currently based in Swansea, he's taken the time to answer our questions for us all to read. Liverpool will no doubt come into the game openly confident - Notts will have to play makeup with a fair portion of our fans but t

The Magpies' take on Luton Town tomorrow at the Kenilworth Road Stadium, which will be the second time Notts have played them within the 2015/16 season. On Saturday 12th September 2015, Notts managed to defeat Luton Town at Meadow Lane after enjoying a 2-0 lead upto the 71st minute, when the Hatters responded and then quickly drawn level on the 76th minute. Liam Noble sealed all three points by scoring in the final seconds, the final score 3-2 to Notts County.

The upcoming local derby between Notts County and Mansfield Town has been labelled by magpies boss Ricardo Moniz as having β€œNo difference between Arsenal and Spurs” and in fact mentioned β€œThis club is also big”. Notts County have the foundation of having impressive performances under their belt, whilst Mansfield are yet to win within the 2015-16 season. Pride of Nottingham has taken the time to put several questions to one of the most reco

Following the great work prior to the Sheffield United game, Notts County find themselves again at the mercy of the weather. Tomorrow will see us host the Latics who are, unfortunately for them, at the bottom end of the table, sitting in the 19th place, 5 positions away from Notts who now sit 14th but with 3 games over our visitors. We have taken the time to ask a series of questions to Bob, who gives us an insight into his time as an Oldham supporter who is sending a positive message abo

Notts County have the chance of topping the fledgling League Two table on Friday night if they beat Accrington Stanley at Meadow Lane. The Magpies have improved game by game this season, with the 3-0 loss to Coventry City largely forgotten now thanks to improved performances and results. With those over the Trent playing on Saturday, the Notts fixture has had to be moved, but if it all goes well, the Black and White Army can kickstart the bank holiday weekend the perfect way. Ahea

Introduction: Name: Steff Bale How long have you supported Bromley? I have been attending Bromley matches since I was 11 years old. I’m 52 now! I am a Bromley fan, but many Bromley supporters support other clubs, especially big London clubs. I used to watch Arsenal more than Bromley, but for the last few years, I have been going to watch Bromley more than Arsenal. Are you a season ticket holder?
