Does anyone else do the word game called wordle, I started doing it in lockdown now it’s part of my morning routine, I can’t get dressed until I’ve solved it.

I've been trying to get @super_ram into this, keep his brain engaged.

He likes things like this, I don't play it but it's popular. The TV game show based on this is a bit average but can be fun.

Yes it’s definitely good to keep your brain active, come on @super_ram we can post our scores on here every day but you’ve no chance of beating me. That’ll gee him up @Chris

i don't understand it.

do you just guess words that fit? i am not really sure, i have not played it but at the same time i have seen people especially on twitter play it.

@liampieYou guess a word. If you get a letter in the right place it will turn green, if the letter is in the word but in the wrong place it will turn yellow, if the letter isn’t in the word at all it will remain grey. 

On the bottom grid of letters the ones you have used and are wrong will be black so don’t use them again, the letters you have used that are correct will be green. You have six guesses to get the right word.

Well done @Piethagoram it took me five attempts today but the penny finally dropped.

@Fan of Big Tone Normally, the first 2 guesses, I normally have used up all 5 vowels. But today, having such a good start, wasn't the case.

I do it every day, but it's frustrating. Either I get it quickly and I'm disappointed that it's over for the day. Or I spend ages on it and need five or six guesses, and then I'm annoyed.

I often used to do crossword puzzles @Fan of Big Tone and this was a word I came across a few times.I can't say I've heard it in everyday conversation,a bit like axolotl Oh,by the way it took me 3 goes today.Honestly ,had a few attempts over the previous few days and made a right pigs foot of it but today I got off to a good start.The trick seems to be getting the vowels and then adding the least likely consonants in a word that fits.Very sneaky.

I don't know either  @DangerousSausage and I can't remember what word I started with but think it was ISSUE,which gave me 3 letters
