Last I heard, he owned a bar in Tenerife and had a side hustle selling hair gel for £10. Despite his reputation, he wasn't the worst. At the time, it seemed like a good signing.

He arrived at us when his injuries had taken their toll, he looked like a player with the same level of ability he had before, but I think he hid well. Whilst the comments about his hair and combing habits are funny, I think he did well for us considering. I would take him back in the season we first signed him, rather than Richard Duffy at his peak. Seriously, one gets borderline hate, the other ignored for his poor attributes to our club.

One person accomplished something, but was unfairly blamed for it. The other person also made mistakes time and time again, but was not blamed for it.

last i knew he was in the non league, i dont think he was the worst defender we have had. i think he did become someone fans blamed mostly due to his habit of checking his hair out. 😂

This is how I feel, he wasn't the worst.

At first fans loved him but because he didn't take the nonsense on Twitter, the usual lot turned on him and it's stuck ever since. Yes, he wasn't the best, but he tried and most don't give him that much credit.

Dean Leacock did okay with his time here, we have had better and we have had worse. His career was always on the decline when he arrived at Notts. I don’t know why some fans think he would have done better, he did what he could. He was a decent defender but he had his limitations.

Dean Leacock was at the club when I was much younger. He always had shiny hair as if he used too much hair product. I thought he was fine for League One, just not promotion quality.

Dean Leacock had a small comb tucked away in his shorts and briefs. Every time a corner came and he headed the ball, he would comb his hair - literally the first thing he would do.

Dean Leacock wasn’t a bad player for Notts; I don’t think some of the hate he got was deserved, but I admit it was frustrating to see him being bothered by his short hair. Connell Rawlinson barely bothers about his; he’s got a lot more of it!

Dean Leacock doesn’t have candles on his cakes; he never has. He’s always been afraid of catching his hair on fire. In all seriousness, I liked him, but he did have some of the most annoying habits you wouldn’t expect in a footballer.
