It's a good interview, some of it repeats what he said in Notts County's interview video, but it's always good to see a further insight into David McGoldrick's thoughts. I think it should put to rest any doubts as to why he's here, we know he's got the ability, and we just need to get the results on the pitch.

Charlie did a very well with this.

Lovely interview. There was talk of him wanting to finish his career at Notts when this move was still in the rumour mill, but I just about dismissed it as wishful thinking from fans. It's brilliant that it happened.

Just had a thought. If we play his previous club, would it be the County derby?

It’s a good interview and very nice to read. Credit goes to Charlie for making McGoldrick relaxed enough to open up a bit further.

It’s a very good interview. I really like how David McGoldrick comes across. I know there were some concerns about him signing, but when you speak like David, you don’t need a PR team to win anyone over. Just be yourself, natural and work hard on the pitch. I’m sure he will!

Charlie, sit properly when you’re interviewing someone; don’t sit all smug with your foot under yourself. It’s a good interview, but Slater is like a chalkboard to me.

It was a good interview by Charlie. He got some good information across and it’s nice to see McGoldrick’s passion for Notts County. He’s had a very good career, so I hope he gets the ending to it that he desires and deserves.

It’s a well-written interview. David McGoldrick seems poised and ready to start playing. The fact he mentioned that players can still play at an older age is right, but few can cut it at the highest level. His coming to Notts will hopefully be good for him and the club.

Good interview. Some of the comments weren’t all that different from the one Notts did when he first joined. The spin on him not caring about money has been caught on, but it shows the quality of PON when it was written here first.

It was a very good interview by Charlie Slater, with many positives and interesting comments. It’s nice to see some different questions being put to David McGoldrick, who does well to answer them.
