I'm concerned about this player tonight, Tomlin played a big role in their away game against us.

Not a big chatroom fan as I normally listen to Colin while I'm working on the computer (planning all those wonderful lessons!) I normally cant do 3 things at once!

2-0 up!

Player sent off, I feel sorry for Murray but don't worry. We can hold onto the play, we just need to see Notts ride the storm a little. COYP!

We can hold on for sure @notts-joe! We have the pressure firmly on peterborough.

What was going on with the early goals? Oh dear... They have scored!

come on notts!

2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 4-3... Jesus

I said after Posh scored their third goal (rather cheekily shared an image of their youngsters celebrating) that we needed to bounce back and there goes Jumping Jack Grealish who put us on level teams. I don't think we can be disappointed because there's more to take from this, than anything CK contributed to during his time and I say this trying not to be harsh.

They just missed a sitter! :D

We battled but Murray's Red Card made it so tough for us !

I'll be there Saturday. Gutted we lost, but there's a way to lose and to fight like that and give everything with 10 men and almost get something at a top side and score 3. Ronan Murray has learnt a lesson tonight, that's for sure.

I will certainly be down on Saturday with the faith alive, that's for sure. SHAUN DERRY'S BLACK AND WHITE ARMY

It will be interesting to read the match reports. Hope JCR's not too bad.

It's a bummer we lost, but it was obviously a spirited performance and that attitude will keep Notts up this season and give the axis of SD/GA time to do a bit of rebuilding over the summer. UPIES!

Proud to be a Notts fan tonight.  We'd have won that comfortably had Murray not lost his head.  I could see a charltonesque performance!  Going down to 10 so early did for us.  Very proud of Derry and the team though, they really gave their all

COYP and let's have a win on Sat

I never like us losing, but we seem to have a bit more about us since SD took over as supporters we like to see our team fight for the shirt, maybe Murray took this a little bit too literally

It would appear we gave a fighting performance. SD has certainly transformed the team's attitude and i am confident we will no longer get relegated.

Wow that sounded like a great match, what a shame Murray got sent off we were on our way to a great win.

The 10 men did really well and still nearly came away with a point, lots of positives to take from this match, we'll win more than we lose with this attitude.

No idea what happened with the red card. Some say verbals, BBC says fighting. I didn't see a thing.

Good battling by Notts, always hard with 10 men for 75 minutes.

The ref was shite first half, regardless of the sending off. Most his decisions were wrong. He improved in the second half.

Good support by the Notts fans as usual. Looking forward to Saturday!

got no complaints cept for Murray gettin' his stupid ass sent off. Like most of you I love the fighting spirit SD has instilled into the squad.

I'm absolutely devastated, could cry to be honest.

First of all, I'm so proud of the immense fighting spirit we showed tonight. We fought till the bitter end and to be honest nobody could have denied us a point had we got one. By the sounds of it, all four of Peterborough's goals were pretty good. I think it speaks volumes about how far we've come under Derry that we feel so disspapointed to lose to Peterborough. A few months ago we would have simply rolled over and accepted a 4 or 5-0 hammering. But Derry has them playing for the shirt, playing for the badge. He's installed a real gritty determination into them. That's the stuff of a side capable of staying up.

I hope Ronan Murray dosen't  get loads of abuse for tonight, but just learns from it big time. Yes, his childish actions have to a large extent cost us in a game in which we were cruising, but it would be unfair to solely lay the blame at his feet. Let's not forget Danny Haynes had two golden chances at one v one with the keeper to make it 3-1 and all but kill the game off, which he didn't take.

Such a cruel cruel defeat tonight, but one we can take great heart from. That gritty determination and desire will do us good if we play with it for the rest of the season. Onto Walsall now. It's another massive game. In fact, every game between now and May is a cup final for us. We're far from out of the woods, we've played more games than anyone else but all we can do is keep doing our job, getting our points on the board.

Proud of the lads tonight

I decided to spend the game listening to the radio and joined the match chat, I am not much of a chatter though. It is nice to see it so active, nicely moderated and fans discussing things openly.

Thanks for mentioning @notts-joe and well done for trying to tempt fans into taking part!

From the looks you got a good response, so hopefully I can join again sometime. Regarding Notts, I am disappointed either but I think Murray should have tried to be sensible, however its easy for us to judge. He might have responded to something? Its easy to judge without seeing anything. We played well by the sounds of it and I just hope campbell ryce is okay.

Thanks for joining us, glad you enjoyed it. I have to try things, I feel cheeky to ask but it's a case of 'if you don't ask' - I didn't think so many would respond and it's great to see, really glad they did because it helps.

Brilliant night for us here :)

Did anyone hear the first song that BBC Radio Nottingham played after the game? Talk about rubbing it in.

2-0 up I thought our lot was only going to win it.

Like many have said before I am not dissappointed, I just hope we continue to fight and take walsall on this saturday. I shall be making the trip from Lambley, so hoping notts will get a good result.

Okay, it's easy to blame.

Having watched the highlights I still don't blame Murray, I also can't really see him hitting out but it does look like he made some sort of movement. Their player seems to have made the most of it and the ref didn't really reflect on his decision (which I am unsure he seen fully as it appears he's looking towards the ball). Either way it's happened and we need to move on.

All of Peterborough's goals I'd label down to poor defending, extremely poor. Bart's position also seemed off, although I'm not playing the blame game. Being down to 10 men, it wouldn't be easy but the defending needs to improve. Let me know what you think?

From what you can see there, it is a head-lock followed by a swing of the arm by the Peterborough player, and then Murray punces him.

As far as I'm concerned, it is a red card for the Posh player for the initial head lock and possible swing, and also a penalty for us.

Murray should also be sent off, obviously.

So my comments from last night still stand, the ref was garbage in the first half, and we have been shafted out of 3 points by an incompetent ref.

After watching that gif of the incident I sure as hell am a lot more angry at the ref than I am at Murray. But hey that's football innit.
