MAGnet Links - Forest Green Rovers

This Saturday Notts play host to Forest Green Rovers, how many links can we find between the two clubs?

The first one that springs to mind is Ian Burchnall who jumped ship from Notts to FGR when we failed to win promotion in the National League play offs.

How many more links can we find?

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

Liam Noble....

How he went from being one of the most promising players at our club, to being unreliable and constantly being sent off - I don't know. His re-signing was very uninspiring and due to JJ being sent images of Noble training at Basford's facilities. Kevin Nolan rebranded PON "Arsenal FanTV" in his pre-match interview. Kev, let's take it easy on the beers. ????

I had zero to do with this and the images played no part in Noble's lacklustre return, unfortunately, Liam Noble had other issues which has seen his career flat line. :(

A field where dreams become reality.

Haydn Hollis is a player who comes to mind when considering links to both teams. Haydn’s dedication to Notts was commendable, and I believe he would thrive under the guidance of a manager like Luke Williams. It’s unfortunate that the fans turned their backs on him.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Luke Rodgers.

His last team was Forest Green Rovers. Despite the frequent criticisms of him being repeatedly caught offside, I always found Rodgers a joy to watch. The partnership he formed with Lee Hughes was truly remarkable.
