FA Cup 1st round

Notts have drawn Crawley at home in the first round of the FA Cup, I think we could have had easier draws but at least we are at home, what do others think?

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

These days, I take the draws as they come, but it's not the worst we could have got.

It's a good opportunity for us to make the 2nd round. I think there could be far worse ties, especially ones where we could be away from home. Crawley is a good team, but if we play at our best and pick up in form between now and then, we should really fancy ourselves to progress.

A field where dreams become reality.

I’m thrilled about the match taking place at Meadow Lane. I’d be let down if it were elsewhere, but really, we should just be content with the first round. The league, particularly our current form, is of utmost concern, but a cup match could boost morale and help us get back on track.

Yep, home draw is always a bonus. I a way I'm glad it's not a team like Kettering or Tamworth, your proper non-league lower than even National League level. Still have horrible memories of losing to Hornchurch and Salford.

I am happier knowing that the match is at home. I can't complain about the draw. It is what it is and Crawley will be a tough opponent for Notts at Meadow Lane in the first round of the FA Cup.

The draw isn’t bad, though I might have fancied a different team. But we’ve got Crawley, and that’s that. It’s going to be a hard match; we know Crawley can put up a fight. Playing at home doesn’t make it any easier, but it’s a welcome change. No complaints here, I’m eager for the match.
