Where Do You Think Notts Will Finish?

Featured Replies

This as been pretty popular over on MUP and our fans are pretty much behind moyes, only a small minority feel he is not the right person.

The majority of our fans think 10th to 5th, I think 5th is the target now.

Where do you think Notts will finish?

United > England

18th to 15th (realistically)

20th would be fine, I think we're able and good enough to stay up. It's just a case of getting results now, especially early on and hopefully we can avoid the danger zone.

I don't want to us drop down to League Two, I'd like to focus on progress and next season pressure should be off Shaun and Greg - Respectable finishes.

If we don't avoid the drop, we need to get back up (to rebuild our fan base/support).

I'm guess i'm being optimistic and going for 12th.

I feel this league is so tight, that we will win more than we lose for the rest of the season. Thus putting us in a healthy position to mount the charge next season.

I'm with @weymouthPIE on this, all we have to do is stay up now. In doing so, though, Shaun and Greg should be (and seem to be) laying the foundations for next season - we're not going to be able to go crazy in the transfer market, so mgmt need to be very clear what they expect from the players that stay with us especially in terms of commitment and attitude. I'm actually getting excited about next season already!

Whilst 20th is fine I think 6th would be much better and is still achievable as long as we relocate to fantasy island

No more of a fantasist than them lot over the river. Going for a top half finish in the premiership next season if you believe their fans who phone up Matchtalk

James

It's a bit confusing @weymouthPIE that lot over the river from us is Notts, as opposed to that lot over the river is actually them

Unfortunatly we're forever on the dark side down here

James

Does anyone think notts might slip up? Good replies so far, very positive.

Good luck

You can't come on here asking that! Be gone... :P

I think the general view of 14-18th is about really tbh. Can see wins on the horizon to push us on a little more, but we need to be realistic and accept defeats will happen. In saying that though, SD does seem to be going about his work in a sensible way re transfers etc...

Alot of players who haven't had an impact are leaving or left and we're only in Jan. Can't wait to see what he does if we do stay up in the summer in the transfer market!

I would say around 17th. Above relegation, but not too far off... mid table at most. We are doing well to get out of it upto now though.

Now McGregor and Grealish are with us again I am feeling more confident, I am hoping for mid table but just to stay in this league would be a massive achievement for SD and GA.

With todays news I've changed my mind, top 6, no doubt in my mind.

None of this just stay up rubbish onwards and upwards COYP

My pre-season prediction for Notts is, at the moment, way off the mark.but they are capable still of achieving it.I think mid table is more realistic though.

I don't want to get too excited, but with the news of today.

Anything is possible in football. Only 16 points to go ;)

You can do the Official PoN 'count down' Canadian! ;)

I didn't want to get excited but after the news regarding Callum (which I didn't think would happen), it now cements my belief that we can keep a float.
