Notts Injury Watch 2025/26

Featured Replies

I sometimes think there might be more going on than just an injury. Mai Traore is a strange one, and I don’t really know why Nick Tsaroulla keeps missing games. It would be great to have all five players back. We really need them.

Lucas Ness being injured is a worry. He plays, then gets hurt again. He’s had a few injuries already, so I hope the medical team can help him get better properly.

i am mortified that i have seen a comment expressing that nick tsaroulla and will jarvis need letting go, i am confused. they are good players who hopefully return stronger from their injuries. i do wish the club would do a monthly roundup on whats happening with the players, instead of a welcomed random update never to hear about it until they return to action.

Will Jarvis, Nick Tsaroulla, Scott Robertson, and Lucas Ness would each be players that could easily go into our first team. There's no real lack of depth in our team, so it gives them time to recover and avoid bringing players back too soon.

I do want to see Mai Traore do well; I take no joy in seeing a player fail, but he does seem very much like a player who either won't or doesn't want to make the grade at this level. There are fans with much harsher opinions than mine, but the times he has seemed promising are fleeting cameos, and it is disappointing. When a team gets better players, it should be a blessing to anyone stepping onto the pitch, but last season it was like we were playing with 10 men.

Bringing in a young youth player, for me, would be acceptable because you would expect them to be like Traore.

Ideally, when he returns, he will do well, prove himself, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I have far more faith in Jarvis and Tsaroulla as game-changing players.

It’s good to have the full squad back, but I do wonder if some of the signings were made because a few of the injured players might be out longer than we realise. That could explain why we’ve brought in extra cover.

Signing Nick Tsaroulla and Will Jarvis would be a solid step forward. They’d add strength where we need it, and I really hope Mai Traore gets a chance to show what he can do.

We already know how well Scott Robertson and Matt Palmer work together, but even Robertson linking up with someone else off the bench could make a real difference.

Once these players return, Martin Paterson will have plenty of options to shape his starting eleven. With Robertson, Ness, Traore, Tsaroula and Jarvis all capable of making an impact, it’ll give the squad a real boost and add some welcome depth across the pitch.

Wouldn’t it be a good sign if the new staff helped Notts avoid some of the long-term injuries that have held us back since returning to League Two? With better squad depth, there’s more chance to focus on proper recovery. In past seasons, we may have rushed players back too soon, only for them to get injured again after a couple of games. I’d love to see more of Nick Tsaroulla, he’s a top player at this level.

I do wonder how long some of them will be out. I agree, the club could be better at keeping us informed. When there are this many injuries, it makes sense to give updates. If it’s just one player, you don’t mind waiting a bit longer. But not everyone should have to wait until the media ask about it.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Will Jarvis back. Hopefully he can settle into the starting eleven, and if Martin Paterson can get him firing, it’ll make watching Notts exciting. Jarvis probably has the most potential of anyone at the club.

I thought the hiring of the Doctor was so Notts could cut down on injuries (all part of the New Notts Model)? Both Tsaroulla and Jarvis are good players and will be an asset to the First XI when fully Fit. Traore seems to be struggling to adopt to the Riggers of EFL Football, I think He'll End Up Going Out On Loan. Much like Junior did last season. The Count (Roos) is a liability and can't encourage confidence in the Defenders in front of him Don't think that any time soon will Fans be informed regarding injury up dates, that isn't the Clubs Style, if the past few Seasons are anything to go by.

At least no one else has picked up an injury. I really hope Will Jarvis is back soon, he’d make a big difference!

Your forgetting Roos....they've discovered he is colourblind......thats why he couldn't distinguish the bright red shirt he passed to!!!!!!!
