There was a point I felt I would never see the formbook read 4 wins! I'm also pleased to see us on 16 goals, however I'd like to get the goals conceded down to about 6-7. Their form reads me of ourselves, 10 goals scored and 6 conceded - not dissimilar to when our form started changing.

We need a much better result here, a draw is the least I would accept.

Hopefully we will see the fight and desire from last Saturday, if we can get the early goal. We need to frustrate them but obviously be careful about injuries, I hope our fans give 'em some stick.

2-2 the score from me, yet I could see it being 2-3 to us.

Can we do better than a draw? Let's hope players are protected by sensible officials and the games played in good spirit.

Let's do this!

I have a feeling this game will be like Port Vale, hopefully with similar ending.

Bristol City are a fast side but struggle with defending, if we can flood them and make sure we keep the ball. That will go along way to deciding the final result but cotterill's got them together and under him they are no so predictable. It should be a very good game!

Would be a massive result for us if we could sneak a win here. Anything is a bonus and would take the pressure off the home games. :)

Yes, we need to take the pressure of the home games. A draw would not be a bad thing, to sneak a win would be the ultimate outcome. I would like to think our current form could see us through them.

No doubts it will be a test. Just keep 11 men on the pitch please!

notts need to just focus on not conceding, chances will come to us. just hope hollis plays!

2-1 to Bristol City. Spencer. They won't give us any time on the ball. They are a physical, high tempo side that force teams into errors and capitalize on them. A point would be a fantastic result but I just can't see it....

unchanged. hollis back

Notts 3 - 1 Brizzle

Oh dear Thomson is playing again, I'm worried. Proper defenders on bench as well. Shaun what you playing at

Thank god BBC Nottingham have just turned the match on, I was thinking I'd have to listen to Bristol Citys. Cunningham doesn't half sound like a child, 'I like playing on the left, anywhere on left, aslong as I play, i love playing and once I'm on the field'...

I'm biased but it was a stupid interview.

COYPs!

I'm feeling a 2-1 or 3-1 for Notts. Bristol sounds like they try and break you down, but can't make goals and their lack of goals will be the reason they lose this game. They will still get on the scoresheet most likely but I dont think it will end well for them. #COYP

Let's Hope We come out running!

Its all Notts 4 corners first 10 minutes. Oh dear 1-0 while im typing this,

It sounds like quite the game, very lively and JCR is just proving how much we need him. I'm starting believe @UniPie was wrong to dismiss my views, he's showing great form and what a way to come back for Haydn Hollis.

1-1! COYPs

And you said I always back the dodgy players!

JCR has been the best all season for me and long may it continue.

Yatesy said it when he said it's a cruel game. I listened to it on the radio i got no heavy criticisms. Bad luck, but well played Notts

Posted

This was a devastating blow, good job Tranny lost. - but Crewe won!

We have to get 7 points now IMO. Tough ask.

The pressure is, well & truly, on now. Monday is a massive game now, huge.

I meant in the light of others!

their down now, i wish you luck with the rest of your games.

I'm stunned. I cannot believe we lost that match. I cannot believe we shot ourselves in the foot yet again. Nevermind a draw, we should have won today and won comfortably too. We were the better side by a million miles. City couldn't cope with JCR or Grealish, Spencer made a nuisance of himself all game, to a man we were fantastic. We didn't give them any time on the ball. Their only tactics was to lump it forward and hope Emmanual Thomas got on the end of it, which he rarely did.

Yet the two goals were awful. The first goal, up to that point we'd been all over them, yet one long ball and they get in behind & score.

The second, well. What can you say? Hollis had looked solid for the entire game. He shiuld've just wellied it into row Z. Bart should have been able to do better I think but I don't think anyone was prepared for the ball to go back to him. It was a danger free situation that ended up costing us the match.

I might feel better come Monday, but right now I honestly think we've stuffed usselves. I think we've shot ourselves in the foot once too often now. Yet another match added to the long list of games in which we've deserved a point or three, but come away with nothing.

Stunned. Gutted. Absolutely devastated. Feel sick to the pit of my stomach. Of all of our many defeats this season, that has to be the cruelist by far. :(

i would not blame the squad, its just not our day.

sounded very lively and a good performance by notts. unlucky really, we should have hung on.

Posted

It was not the result we needed.

There was a fair amount of time I felt we could get more than a point, though it sounded like very poor defending gave a way our leveller. I hope we can go into mondays game and get a result. If we dont, we might have our fate sealed.

I am not looking forward to monday. hard luck notts!

Posted

Gutted. Just like one of the early season displays where we played well but conspired to lose the game. So annoying. Monday is critical now, we must win at all costs.

Listening on the radio it sounded like we played well and could have taken all 3 points. Not our day.
