Exciting news! Not sure if anybody has seen this yet, but former Notts County defender Guy Branston is now involved in a website that provides a platform for players to showcase their talents – www.allaboutballerz.com

Fantastic to see a former professional providing a resource for grassroots and professional players; he’s also welcoming new investors should anybody involved in the game wish to get behind the project – email [email protected]

He's too late on this bandwagon much like his defending in those 45 minutes at Notts

I didn't see this until now but good luck to him.

Fair play to him, and good luck... but as @Super_Danny_Allsop said...

I guess we only had half a game to judge him but my god he was abysmal, possible the worst player I have seen in a Notts shirt in over 50 years.

All water under the bridge now of course so good luck to him in his new venture.

i think its a shame that hes trying to do something positive and people are commenting about him as a player, blunt but the truth.

Hi Liam

I don't think Guy will be reading this forum so it's not as if we are hurting him in any way. I think the comments are coming from people who saw him play for Notts and to be honest if you had seen him you can't help but comment on his one and only game with Notts which lasted for 45 minutes.

Most people who have commented on his Notts County career have also wished him good luck in this new venture.

Ironic to say the least but good luck to him.

Perhaps he will make a better coach? lol

As @tonyhateley said we are only commenting on his 45 mins in the black & white stripes.

As an idea of just how bad he was, and this is my abiding memory of those entire 45 mins, just before half time he ran to head the ball then, without attempting to header it he let it go over his head, this was so badly judged that as he turned to run after the ball it bounced back off of the turf and hit him in the face, if he had just stood up straight he would have headed the ball away with ease, then the clown started blaming Stephen Hunt & Krystian Pearce much to the amusement of the Stockport winger and their dugout

Tom Williams and Guy Branston, i never will forget these woeful players.

as bad as he was, that is some assassination of Tom Williams...

i still dont get what this is to do with him forming the all about ballerz. i respect people did not rate him but this is not a subject about his time at the club, it is about him making a difference to youngsters.

I know for a Fact, most people on this board, would wish the best for anyone who has the chance to help out other People in Football.

My opinion is, When he played for us. He was not very good, mildly worded. Now i see he's trying to bring people into the game, Which is only a good thing, Right!

Worst notts player in mine and a lot of peoples time.

Good Man for trying to help Grassroot Football (Disagreed with his asumption, about football being soft)

TBH It's got bugger all to do with him or anyone doing these football schools etc bringing kids into the game, it's the same as any business, it's about seeing an opportunity & making money from it, as far as I read the advert, he's just fronting a website for people to upload videos of themselves, plenty of other bigger platforms that already do this though.

Good luck to the bloke in whatever he does as long as it's not illegal, the same goes for anyone

Illegal? Was he included in the match fixing scandal or something?
