I must admit when i heard that Roy Carroll had signed for Notts County i was shocked and surprised. After seeing him in action for his former teams and the fact he couldn't control his demons i was not happy. Being a big Bart fan myself you could say it was sour grapes. But after all highlights and  games I've watched and what i heard at the weekend 2 games in 24/48 hours Im slowing changing my mind. I will admit i was wrong and would like to see Roy Carroll stay next season.

No complaints signing him or upon hearing the rumours.

I think he's be a sound replacement for Bart, who I was very disappointed to see leave us. Roy is very alert, he's a great keeper and at this level we can't do much better than him and I just hope we extend his contract because he's earned it. I would be sad to see him leave and make the grade higher again, whilst we struggle to find a replacement.

I'd love to see Roy help Super Fabs through, I think between Roy and Pilks - Fabs is in "safe hands". LOL

Master stroke of a signing. Superb player and character. Some times he does push the wrong buttons for refs, but so did Hughes. In fact I see them as from the same song sheet.

He certainly has to be Shaun's best signing so far. I'd love to see him stay with us.

anyone who said otherwise would be daft.

hes part of the reason we are doing so well, in the games where we scrapped draws carroll saved us. the defence deserves credit, tho for me carroll more so because hes a troop at the back.

I was disappointed to hear that Bart was leaving, but Roy Carrol is controlling the team better at his end of the pitch abit like a coach(at times). He does seem to be quite irate at times but i think hes quietened down abit as time has gone on.

He's fast becoming a legend that's for sure.
