It's good that other subjects are being discussed, this helps in close season, we are of course mainly football related but as a community there are lots of other topics to explore when football news is in short supply.

There are loads of rumours going around. My lot are being linked with every defender  and the Steve McClaren staying/leaving situation still won't go away!

Well done let's keep it up. 40,000 is great news! Also, we edge closer to 400 members.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Records broken today

* 66 Members having signed in (Majority of which happened before 3pm interesting development)
* 188 posts so far - My target is 300-400 and I think it's a possibility with it just being 10 past 6.
* Over 20 active posters, posting several responses.

Thank you everyone

Its good to see that posting actual means something, rather than potential money spinners via advertisement. I hope more fans embrace and join in with PON because its a higher standard than the majority of fan sites out there already.

Update on the records broken today.

* 74!! Members having signed in (Majority of which happened before 3pm interesting development)
* 314 posts so far - My target is 300-400 and I think it's a possibility with it just being 10 past 6.
* Over 25 active posters, posting several responses.
* Almost over the 4.3k mark! Currently on 42,892
* 432 members have joined! (It would be brilliant to see many posting their opinions like today)

Next target! Most online in one day, currently it stands at 373 (most of which are guests and it also includes at the same time) Many thanks to Bristol City fans for that!

Just logged in to catch up - and there are over 300 posts to read! How on earth am I going to get through that lot?!?

Interest in the board has exploded over the last couple of months, and I think we'll only really notice once the season is underway. Congratulations to all involved!

I said to @GrannyPie just the other day that I thought 300 posts in a day would be passed once games(friendlies or actual competitive matches) take place.I think I'll have to increase my expectations now!

Great achievement, nobody should undervalue their contributions on the site because as this proves, each of us make a difference and credit to @notts-joe for the relentless work he puts in.
