Scott Bennett

I know Scott Bennett seemed to come in for a lot of stick on the radio yesterday.

Was it a good idea to sub him right after his 'discussion' with Roy?

We seem to be seriously struggling and he was supposed to be the steady man at the back!

I think it was probably wise to sub one of the cb's but I'd have taken Audel off.

Listening to Uncle Colin, he seemed to make far more mistakes and comments on social sites sort of support this. Give them a few intense training sessions, fix the issues and I'm sure things will improve.

A field where dreams become reality.

Exeter let Bennett go for a reason. He switches off during games. His mistake for the 2nd goal was awful. That ball should have been booted out of the ground. That's what Hollis would have done!

Exeter wanted him, it was Bennett who wanted the move. Had Notts not approached him, he would have signed a new contract.

But not at centre back. Paul Tisdale didn't trust him. I can see why. Bennett says his best position is CB, maybe he'll settle down in time.

Bennett shouldn't be singled out, other players did not help either.

After Carroll speaking to him, it was probably best to take him off. so it was the right decision for me.

Simply he needs to improve, so far he hasn't been good enough. When we signed him, it looked to be a decent signing but unless he settles down quickly. I think he will just continue to disappoint. Its nice to see people saying what some here have said all along, one week its we need to sign a striker and after two defeats he writes about spending money on defenders. Why are some Notts fans so clueless when it comes to football?

Spend the money on a defender, sign a striker on loan.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

It's difficult to be patient with players when Moniz has been given a decent budget and so far has failed to perform in league 2!

This is the biggest problem for the fans. I agree it is difficult, especially when with over 80% of the squad all we've got are some youtube clips put together by either super fans or the players agent!

If we really wanted to I'm sure somebody could also do a montage for Guy Branston including his great Notts appearance!

In all seriousness the defeats are unaccpetable in the sense that the performance and commitment are just not there. If it was just getting to know you issues then fair enough because it would have to be a performance by a magician to buy so many and expect it all to click into place immediately.

The point is ...it's not that. Yes mistakes have been made, but the commitment to the game had been so low. No figh in them at all except to get silly bookings.

Take a leaf out of the Stags book Notts. Know the opposition, press the opposition and play through them.

Mansfield and Oxford have put together good teams, beating us proves that. You can't fail league 2 until you played at least half of the 46 games.

Scott Bennett will prove himself, its his first club a way from Exeter.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
