Posted November 6, 20159 yr #1 Let's all be honest here no lying we was Sh*** anyone who defends that you need spec savers and fast that was dire . I don't mind losing if we have loads of shots an there keeper is pulling off worldies but I can't Rember him making a save . Our plan was hey lets just hold the ball as far as we can kick it no effort no fight or passion to physce each other up. I mean that second goal 4 players around him and he's embrassed them so easy they could of had 4-5 goals Moniz didn't show no passion to get them kicking not at all Jenner is just a tw** FACT if he wants fight with fans do it somewhere else. Campbell came on an looked like he wanted to try and he should of scored no excuse Steas is never a left Winger moniz it's simply obvious Se Silva is a prince oh is my hair okay is it still in place Noble not botherd to chase at all Hewitt not interested at all first goal he saw the run stilled back so causal an showed no effort to busy a gut an try stop it his marker McLeod just couldn't give a crap it's a where's my pay check at his view Sheehan looked lost the whole defence were terrified And moniz should simply leave It's okay though those Salford players have work at 9AM maybe earlier Notts players can have a nice relaxing day off after a hard days work 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
November 7, 20159 yr #2 Agree. We had no fight whatsoever. Did the Notts players let the media coverage get to them so much that they thought they were actually playing Man Utd? Because we made those opposition players look like them, that's for sure. Only thing I'm glad about is that the media is too busy conducting a circle w**k over Mini Man Utd and praising their achievements instead of looking more in depth about how c**p we were.

Wonder what the spec he was before the game or plan. Probaly this okay when anyone gets the ball hit it as far as you can and the halftime bollocking I'd love to have seen. Cause he did neither not a single player wanted to play for him tonight in the FA Cup and that is worrying if seriously get rid
November 7, 20159 yr #4 I haven't got the heart to think to much about our 'performance'. We were diabolical. For some reason our usual passing game went out of the window and we emulated a team in Salford's league. The midfield were absent. McLeod was more interested in whingeing than anything else. But we've got to congratulate Salford too, that was a perfect example of how an underdog should play and put a supposedly better team under pressure. It's a day they'll never forget and they deserve it. It's the giant killing acts that make the FA Cup special, let's hope that next season it's us doing the giant killing.
November 7, 20159 yr Author #5 Not been funny but Salford didn't have to do anything to deserve it did you see one Notts player have sweat?. Also did you see one Notts player bust a gut no did you see Ricardo try galvanise them no. We made it easy he should be sacked sorry he's spent money and to fall at hurdle 1 is embrassing and to have 1-2 shots on target says it all
November 7, 20159 yr #6 I don't think anyone is defending this, yet this is the cup and not the league - so, I do feel people should cut Moniz some slack. We can't complain about sackings, yet call for it all the time - this for me is one thing, I'll never get drawn into because I don't agree with it. One thing I do agree with, is the Notts performance at an unacceptable level and was whole heartedly disappointing. We lack movement, defending and allow Salford to take a 'feel' of the game very early on, this a lot of similarities in this game to the home defeat against Mansfield. I find it pathetic how people are attacking their fellow fans for providing opinions, it's not smart and it certainly isn't clever. The same can be applied within reason to some of the messages I have seen on the official Facebook page (to mention). We should be able to accept defeat, we should allow for the odd poor performance - yet when the recent ones have been better, why do we try to tear it all down? Christmas will give us a much better picture. Tonight is embarrassing, it wasn't 'acceptable' but it is, what it is.
November 7, 20159 yr Author #7 stead2k a week McLeod easily 3k a week probaly and tonight they didn't earn a penny
November 7, 20159 yr #8 What worries me is that RM seems to have a plan but no idea how to adjust it if it doesn't work. Our midfield was bypassed. Straight up front and back it came with interest. Yes the pitch was terrible but you have to deal with that. It shows again that when things get down and dirty, Notts are found wanting. Our away form is a real worry.

Straight up front and back it came with interest. Yes the pitch was terrible but you have to deal with that. It shows again that when things get down and dirty, Notts are found wanting. Our away form is a real worry. What's worrying then anyone with one brain cell could see the issue here from the word go Salford found us out. They had 6 men forward when they were attacking to our back four as the midfield were no we're to be seen. An everyone could spot this but moniz abroah looked not arsed at all noble just strolled along smith didn't run for 10 mins. Also what's this obsession with playing 3 up top but two strikers as wingers it never will work it's clear so clear . No fight no passion and Hewitt that first goal still makes me rage he spotted Webber running an just strolled slowly There was no football tonight just hoof ball and hope as for the pitch an it bein narrow etc etc Salford seemed to play well. They actually got the ball down passed and moved so why couldn't we no excuses at all he has no ideas what so ever and he's to stubborn to change things. This isn't someone who's learning at all this is someone who is taking us further an further down
November 7, 20159 yr #10 Let's get a bit of perspective. It was one game. Yes, we were absolute garbage, the worst I've ever seen Notts play, even since we had Coco the Clown (Thommo the builder), but it was still just one game. We have been improving in the league and we're not too far off those play-off places. Expecting a big turn around for our next league game, but I'm not going to be calling for the managers head, the chairmans head, or to sack the players because of a single game, regardless of how bad it was. No 'knee jerk reaction' from me please, a bit of consistency is what we need.

Two one game or not where was the passion and fight? 3 We got outplayed from the word go we could of lost 4-0 4 Jenner try's to fight people I mean there second goal Jesus he just humiliated us and Ricardo is clueless end of rant. Look at it how you want but don't hide the fact it was embrassing and the nation saw it
November 7, 20159 yr #12 Salford were as good as we were crap, crap from the team chosen to the effort from our players. Salford deserve a lot of credit for that performance. As for us well I'd say the following Carrol - Did everything he could and you could seethat he could see that we couldn't be arsed Hewitt - Tried hard, had nothing in front of him, got so far then had to pass the ball backwards Edwards - As good as he was in some areas he has less mobility than a corpse and this showed when Sheehan went walk about Sheehan - A very very good defender but doesn't have the basic positional sense to be a centre half, looked good going forward but had the same issues as Hewitt Audel - What a waste of a wage, he is a total liability and they knew it, he was massively at fault for both goals, the next time he has anything to do with Notts should be when he picks up his P45 Smith - The game passed him by, was a passenger the whole game Noble - See above Aborah - impressed with how he always tried to go forward but hit a brick wall every time he did, our best player De Silva - Didn't want to be there and it showed Stead - Tried but needed an outball and he was never gong to get it with that team we put out McLeod - What a waste of a wage and £150000, absolutely fecking useless complete with the first touch akin to a giraffe, offered nothing all game. Personally I would drop him off at a world of mirros place with Jenner so the pair of them can have a long hard look at themselves Spencer - Offered more in his 10 minute cameo than McLeod did all game Campbell - WTF was his attempt at finishing all about? Other than that he tried hard and gave us impetus when he came on. Jenner - He should be following Audel out the door, has less mobility than Edwards and can't be arsed, always Moniz - The biggest thing that kills off any team at any level is pace, why oh why wasn't Snijders & Barmby playing?

Look at it how you want but don't hide the fact it was embrassing and the nation saw it I don't disagree, but I wouldn't be sacking the manager based on 90 minutes of football. Nobody was calling for his head after beating Pompy. A (very) poor performance in 1 game isn't going to change that, TV or no TV.
November 7, 20159 yr Author #14 Oh damn 5 not a single player showed a desire to be a leader 6 Ricardo just just can't motivate us to win games 7 we play 3 in the middle with no energy smith got out run al game so did noble 8 stead on the wing and Spencer on other when he came on what is this all about 9 make of it what you will but next home game I can see us getting outdone an losing what was his half time talk more of the same lads 10 As a manager you have 3-4 wingers who can actually play as wingers and actually have pace so why stead on left then Spencer on right. Why not play snijders left Campbell right two actual wingers but no let's try the crazy Dutch way. Every time Audel was gettin attacked where was stead no wear cause he doesn't defend he is a attacker not a winger. Spencer can't impress anyone playing outside because again he is a TARGET MAN simpleeeee. Oh and Curtis Thompson he isn't good enough apparently but hey he would of chased run round and hassle people. Edwards got took apart tonight but hey we didn't need to buy a CB did we the defence is fine. De Silva more interested if his hair was okay So how Jenner gets above Snidjers and even Burke for that fact is a criminal offence the bloke has no impact. He's 34-33 retired for a year and just taking a free wage if I was Curtis Thompson I'd push for a move he doesn't deserve this He offers more the smith half the age to and Snidjers I'd look for a move another player young quick and can actually cross a ball. Stead is past it now not his fault his pace has completely gone or the little had actually had at a younger age The middfielders showed no desire to even get back and help McLeod well what can a say when you just hoof the ball up to him all game he's never gonna win a header so he has to push people over etc then moan at refs. Milsom must still not be fit even though we were told he is either that or he's not good enough I'm sorry but teams are going to suss is out at home soon and it's a matter of time believe me
November 7, 20159 yr Author #15 We beat Pompey cause they couldn't score look at the reflection of that game they could have 4-5 if it wasn't for Carroll they played us off the park aswell.
November 7, 20159 yr #16 Jenner should be sacked. He booted the ball at Salford fans which was stupidity. They weren't even winding him up. He narrowly avoided hitting a teenager in the face which would have broke his nose at the very least. That's not what Notts are about.

November 7, 20159 yr #18 I've been patient with Moniz because he shows signs of recognising duff players and canning them - Hollis, Swerts & Jenner spring to mind. However, he contradicts that by electing Stead, who is absolutely dreadful and has no ball control whatsoever, Hewitt, who is never a full back in a million years. He can't mark or tackle and has zero positional sense. We, occasionally, produce a half decent display or conjure a good result but we are generally a bottom half of the table side. Last night confirmed for me that Moniz is so woefully out of his depth that he simply has to go & go now. We are relegation fodder if he stays, the bloke is utterly clueless. Absolute idiot. Some of his signings wouldn't get in a pub team - the list is getting longer every week.
November 7, 20159 yr #19 What a difference a week makes, last week everyone was saying what a fantastic performance against high flying Portsmouth, things were on the up, we were looking at playoffs, the managers was getting things right and now this week we can't beat a non league side, the performance was terrible and some are calling for the manager to be sacked..........again. Football fans are so fickle (I'm not getting at anyone in particular) it seems one minute everything is rosy and the next sack the manager, Trew out, the players are crap etc., etc., Yes it was an embarrassing performance, yes we should have easily beat non league opposition but we are Notts County, I've been watching them over 50 years and these things have happened time and time again, I am used to it, this is what supporting Notts is all about. We have to accept that on the day our team didn't perform and the opposition did, lets get over it and focus on the next game. Sacking the manager after this defeat would be silly in my opinion.

I hate to say it it's not about losing underperforming etc etc it's about passion fight heart courage desire did any player show that NOOO. It's about trying effort commitment not a single player tried tonight or had any effort they looked like they didn't wanna be there. If that's the attitude they are happy with they need a slap if I went into work with that I can't give a shit today I'd be sacked why are they a exception? It's not about losing hell upsets happen correct but if toure going to lose make a game of it show some battle an spirit. Don't go to a game an have no heart or fight cause that's no pride I think people don't see this if you're happy with players to not give a damn great ur choice. But I for one would appreciate abit of fight desire and more then most a leader on the picth Salford had 11 leaders we had 11 boys
November 7, 20159 yr #21 View from a little Island what i saw which was the first match for ten years and on the tele anyone would know that any lower division team like Salford are up for the fight and going to go at the opposition like a express train and so we should have been prepared from the kick off we were a sleep also i fail to understand why if i can see that each ball i mean each ball above 5 foot was chocolate on a cake to the tall Salford back two the ball just came back each and every time giving Salford the advantage so why o why carry on doing it ??? if the manager can't see it and shout or pass on different instructions surely the Captain should have a word or two with the main culprits or have the players no brains to change tactics them selves its BASIC not rocket science and what the hell are the wings for just run at the opposition please Good luck Salford you deserve it I'm always asked do i miss anything in the UK i always say only Saturday or Tuesdays at ML thank goodness that match was on a Friday By the way i've never swore so much at the tele the wife was a sleep but called me blind for such obscene language good job my names Hunt not Cunningham by the way i only get M.P normally so don't comment on what i can't see
November 7, 20159 yr #22 There is no footballing problem to which the answer is 'bring on Julian Jenner'. I cannot understand that substitution, he has made no impact in any game I have seen this season. Last week we were praising Notts for their performance so what went wrong? The prematch footage of Pilkington, Caroll, and Smith going on about the good old days at Man U made me mad, maybe it got edited but their only focus should have been on talking up Notts; not harping on about the past. Why did Notts play in their Third Kit, there was no colour clash; a game on National TV and the black and white stripes should be on show..maybe it would have reminded the players they have a responsibility to 'Notts County FC' to give their all. Audel , Aborah and Campbell at times tried to get things going but any Notts player with the ball looked isolated. One thing is for certain it won't encourage anyone to watch the next home game. Fingers crossed the league form doesn't disappear, the players let Moniz and all of us fans down last night.
November 7, 20159 yr Author #23 I think moniz lets the players down by playing them all over the place not there fault. I mean he sticks McLeod up top on his own an says here lads just hoof it to McLeod pointless
November 7, 20159 yr #24 Not been funny but Salford didn't have to do anything to deserve it did you see one Notts player have sweat?. We made it easy he should be sacked sorry he's spent money and to fall at hurdle 1 is embrassing and to have 1-2 shots on target says it all I agree last night was a nation wide embarrasment. Last week you told us Notts had the best home form in the division, is that home form because or in spite of Moniz? Its a mystery why Notts played so badly last night but we have got,I think, 8 points from the last four matches. I don't think Moniz should be sacked for last night.
November 7, 20159 yr #25 I reserve judgement on moniz, I have not seen the game or highlights but the result is poor. Did we not think this was a potential banana skin though? Bad performances come with the good, every manager has spells like this.
