Name three teams you recall playing at a much higher level, ones who you believe should still be there.

1. Preston
2. Wrexham
3. Bradford

Trinity have never been promoted or relegated in over 125 years of history!

1. Portsmouth

2 and 3 - both Sheffield clubs. It's incredible that a footballing city like Sheffield doesn't have a team in the top flight.

I'll go with:

Notts - Obviously!

Stockport County - Conference North?!?!

Hucknall Town - Used to enjoy watching them when Notts were away, now back in the Central Midlands league!

Halifax

Stockport

Avenue

Barrow

Yes, I know it's 4 but I didn't know who to leave out.

Notts obviously

Weymouth, now languishing in the southern premier league due to years of financial problems, getting double, even treble the crowds of everyone else

Probably say Grimsby too

Should be in the Premier League with Molineux hosting European matches - Woverhampton Wanderers. Founder members of the Football League, three times First division Champions , 4 FA cups, the club that beat Honved to become 'champions of the world', and inspire the European Cup.

Should be in the Premier League, Fratton Park still gets 17,000 fans attending League 2 matches! Owned by a supporters trust, Portsmouth FC.

Should be in the Championship, battling for promotion, with Meadow Lane hosting a pre-season friendly with Juventus - Notts County FC. The world's oldest professional football club, FA Cup winners, the club of Lawton and Sewell, the club that climbed under the management of Jimmy Sirrel and the chairmanship of Jack Dunnett from the fourth division to the first, a family club that has retained its soul but lost its way.

Very well said. Notts, given the history and the size of the diaspora, certainly should be at the very least a Championship staple.

Other than Notts, I certainly fell that Plymouth deserve the promo they're chasing. League 1+ club all around. Bradford should be a Championship side, but yet another consolidation season for them. That win a few years back over Chelsea was flat-out legendary. I also feel that Dover and Southport should be in the League, but they have a myriad of things holding them back at the moment. Someone mentioned Portsmouth. Absolutely. And apart from that, I would like to see Blackpool rise again with the loathsome Oystons off their backs for no reason other than that the little seaside Vegas could do with some fortune. Obviously there are a lot of people who believe they belong where they are, and I despise that awful family, but in many ways they were the little club that could for a while.

Nuneaton, Altrincham, Maidstone, Leamington, Wealdstone, Enfield, Farnborough

And the Mighty Magpies  - Chorley FC
