Looks like we need a CB, Hollis has been given more than his fair share of chances, and if he never really takes any of them with any kind of consistency, it might be time to draw a line under the whole thing, or use him as a backup.

Brilliant news, can't quibble with that. Would be nice if we could get him permanently, but at least we've got until January.

I am much happier to have signed him than say Kelvin Wilson. It may also herald a change to a back 4?

Fantastic signing! Quality loan addition and I thought it wasn't possible but hey, this is a solid addition to our ranks.

Let's hope the form matches that of when he was here last.

Will Motherwell take Idle and give us 150k as well? :D

Too many mistakes from Hollis for me over the last 3 seasons if anything he has regressed rather than progressed, what annoyed me the most was the rest of the game after his mistake he was fairly good but heading and hoofing... Still is abit too much of a liability..

I think it is fair to say that the last time Hollis had a steady run in the side it was alongside Laing and now he looks to have been brought in to replace him.

Solid signing if he is the same player, was never flustered and appeared to have plenty of time on the ball.

I'm happy with this signing, could now do with another midfielder and attacker!

Ticks all the boxes at this level. Team is still finding its shape. No point in panicking at this stage.

Very happy with this! He said he never wanted to leave in the first place! I hope by January we can make it permanent

Me too. However, if he plays really well in the next 6 months, Motherwell could figure out they have a decent player and A: want to keep him or B: Want a fee.

Best scenario is he plays at 80% and then when we get him on a perm he can go full steam

I seem to remember he had two spells at Notts, and the second time round, he wasn't the same player as the first time. But hey ho we'll see.

we tried to get him back but forest would not loan him to him.

also when they released him there was a rumour we went in for him but obviously he went elsewhere.
