This Is Why I Married Mrs. H.

I was at the match yesterday and our next door neighbour (a Fword fan but a nice chap really) delightedly told Mrs. H that he had heard on the radio we were losing 4-1 so she had better be careful when I got home.

Some time later I walked in all depressed after our humiliation and she had a pint of my favourite beer ready for me on the coffee table to cheer me up, bless her, one in a million.

She never fails to say "I hope they win" when I leave the house and is always there to pick up the pieces when we lose.

Thats just what you need tony, perfect

I feel sorry for my Mum - 3 of my mates who I attend Weymouth matches with live on the way back home so very kindly my Mum gives them a lift home, so she has to put up with either 4 angry/depressed teenagers, or 4 very happy teenagers!

Ah yes, mums are great aren't they. My mam (thats what i called her) used to cook a plate of egg and chips with two slices of bread and butter for a chip butty and time it so that I had it in front of me the moment Match of the Day started on Saturday nights.

I always drag the Mrs. along with me, think she only comes because she has took a liking to Alan Sheean

The other year when we had Nelson, I was always reading comments from our female fan base about him being the NO. 1... NO.1... LOL

How times have changed since League Two.

It's always nice when we get support from relatives/friends if we're feeling down.A little gesture and a few kind words of encouragement can go a long way to lifting our mood.

I don't know, after some of my lovely Wife's comments... I just feel that was the only response, she offended me on Facebook by claiming Notts was my day care centre... LOL

I bet you do things to cheer Mrs H up when she's feeling a bit down.
