bizarre transfer tbh.

either they want him to remain as a coach after he retires or it shows how poor the french league is if a 40 year old is considered better than what they have. i know buffon is a legend but hes not the save player anymore. he should retire gracefully imo.

Mate I’m as confused about this as you are mate ..! His age .. he said he was retireing .. PSG ..! It don’t add up I hope that it’s a incorrect sky sports feature

Liverpool and teams in the United States was linked with him.

I think even Dortmund was but I don't know, I respect that he wants to continue playing but hes not as good otherwise Juventus would have kept hold of him.

I'm lost for words, I can understand him wanting to continue playing but signing for PSG? The worlds gone mad.

It makes zero sense to me.

I do rate Buffon and, I think he's a fantastic keeper but part of me is saddened to see him prolong his career by signing for a 'no-thrills' PSG. Seriously, I just don't understand the move or reasoning behind it. Such a legend should gracefully retire, not extend his wallet by signing for a club that throws money around like its nothing.

Fair play to him if he can squeeze another year from a team like PSG.

It does make you think what's happening when a player who announces his retirement at 40, signs for the biggest club in France after leaving the biggest club in Italy.

It really dose make you think why he hasn’t retired with juventus. Why has he gone to PSG

One terrible season and he could ruin his legacy, I can't see him starting and I fail to understand why he would want to keep the bench warm either.
