I am just happy we are at home, I don't care who we had gotten I would have been happy but I am confident that we can get three points against Colchester United.

it could be worse, it could be better but i do think that the opening fixture is one that should get us roaring for the new season.

Happy for as much as you can be, we don't know how strong or good Colchester United will be. At the moment nobody knows but I think its a good fixture and I am pleased we are avoiding a team like MK Dons.

We got the last campaign off to a bit of dodgy start but pulled it together after the opening day.

I just hope the first few fixtures doesn't make people think it will be easy, promotion from any league is pretty hard to do.

I'm delighted with Colchester United being the opening game, especially since the game will be played at Meadow Lane. I honestly don't recall the last time that I've been to the opening game on home soil.

It should prove to be a good game to test what this Notts County squad has about them.

I am just thank we are at home also, it makes a huge difference and a warm reception could inspire the team on the pitch. I think Dennis and Hemmings have the potential to be the best partnership in the league.

They must be excited about us starting the season off against Colchester United.

I am delighted with the fixture release, Colchester United will be a good test of the squad without too much pressure being attached.

Colchester United are pretty average, its not a glamours opening game but its one which will favour Notts if we prepare correctly. I'm content with the draw, I would have liked a team like Tranmere but you take what you get.
