Yes this year has certainly flown @Magic magpie, don't know whether we'll go to Goose Fair this year, probably not, with living in Ilkeston, two weeks later along comes Ilkeston fair, so we'll no doubt go there. I like a pot of mushy peas and mint sauce and some donuts too. Hey saw Jon Nixon at Ilkeston Fair a couple of years back.

I’ve heard good thing about the Ilkeston fair from former work colleagues. Sounds like fun I used to love minted mushy peas but nowadays they put so much water in it it don’t taste right ????

i might even get Paul to make his home made mint sauce and take that with us in a small jar.

Mint sauce is beautiful to to make ..I’m eager about his recipe ???????? sounds like a plan

I haven't been for years, I imagine it would cost a pretty penny these days.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

We might go to Goose Fair just to see it but wouldn’t go on many things it’s far too expensive these days.

I remember going to Ilkeston Fair many years ago and there was a mass brawl in the boxing match they used to have in those days.

I won't be going.

My children would love to go but it's too busy and I'm not in the mood for that, plus money can be better spent.

Money can definitely spent better elsewhere  dude I agree with that buddy ????????

I won't be going because its too busy and costs way too much. On the odd occasion we have gone, my kids really liked it but its just too much.

I plan to go, it just depends when and who with because friends want to go but also my family does.

I go with my family usually the day before it ends, I am not that bothered this year but I like the atmosphere when it's organised well. The previous times the food areas have been all together has been poor IMO, as is the lack of toilets.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
