Macclesfield fan in peace

Hi all Notts fans.

On behalf of everyone at MTFC I would just like to say I really hope you can bounce back next season. I watched my first ever Macc game at Meadow Lane and the place has quite some meaning to me. Today’s result will hurt, and it’ll hurt for quite some time. I experienced it this time seven years ago.

I wouldn’t wish the Vanarama National League on anyone, it’s absolutely toxic down there, and we all know you don’t belong there.

I hope you manage to sort your issues off the field out and find an owner who has the clubs best interests at heart and become more financially stable within years to come.

I would’ve loved you to stay up with us, but unfortunately it wasn’t made to be.

Until we meet again (hopefully in the EFL), I wish you all the best.

Silkmen til I die.

@Ed Gorton was you at your game?

There was reports going around that some of your fans was kicking off, trying to disrupt the game and it all sounded very bizarre.

Thanks for coming on to post this, there’s a somber feeling going a round.

I believe Notts will come back stronger, we’ve taken so much for granted.

Notts will bounce back, it needs to be much more stable than it currently is so it will take time but they will be back.

Congratulations on staying up @Ed Gorton! A great achievement after the start you had.

It's our (that is the club's) fault we are where we are. We've been badly run for the last 20 years or so. It's time to clear the decks and rebuild this club so that we can return to where I feel we belong.

By the way, can you drink beer in the stands in the Conference? Just asking for a friend.

There are nice fans out there.

@Ed Gorton thanks for sharing your message.

It's nice to know more sensible fans come to show their support on here, well done on staying up. I hope Sol sorts you guys out. With the budget and other difficulties rumoured to be happening at your club, I think it's a good turn a round.

Good luck in League Two next season.

With what the fans was doing with the reports of throwing things at the goalkeeper and intimidation that’s not good and not except-able not one bit.

But I have to respect the post @Ed Gorton Thankyou for the post and show of respect 👍🏻👊🏻
